1988 S15 Jimmy - AC Removal16 Feb 2006 23:11 GMT5
I've turned this truck into a roadster (no roof) and no longer need to have
the AC compressor in the engine compartment.
All I want to do is get rid of the AC compressor, the other stuff doesn't
eat HP.
GMC Seierra Drive Problems?16 Feb 2006 04:00 GMT13
I have a GMC Sierra 5.3l vortec automatic 4 speed overdrive 2003 short
wheelbase pickup. I put a dubble locker editon possie rear end in with
4.10 ring gear & pinion in. I had a stock rearend and 3.42 gears. Now
when I get to 110mph or a 120mph (off road) I have vibrations in the
worn steering on a '97 Skylark16 Feb 2006 02:28 GMT4
My 1997 Buick Skylark is nearing the end of its natural life, I think,
but I'm trying to determine if I can squeeze a little more life out of
it before I buy my next car, a Toyota or Honda (yeah, another intake
manifold = no more GM cars ever victim).

Central Port Injection (4.3 L Vortec) lesson learned15 Feb 2006 22:48 GMT6
I am posting this here for mechanical novices or people like myself with
just enough knowledge to be dangerous.  Here is a hard learned lesson in
not checking/fixing the obvious first.  For the most part, no trouble
codes were available to diagnose the problem.
Sedans tested by Consumer Reports March 200615 Feb 2006 19:19 GMT15
You will note the Chevy Impala got a check marked recommendation yet there
wasn't much nice about the car in the write up.  I don't quite figure it.
On a more important matter, the fuel economy of all the cars was abysmal.
They would have scored much, much worse if the cars were ...

When I check transmission fluid level I notice a lot of bubbles on the dip
stick ,and basically I
couldn't see what is the level.
Is there too much , or not enough of the fluid ?
