My wife's 2000 Pontiac Grand AM GT wont shift into fourth gear and it makes a hell of a whir when in motion. It seems to shift from 1st to 2nd to 3rd smoothly, though the whir gets louder as the gears progress. Any ideas?

When replacing the filter in the automatic transmission, I noticed that there is no magnet on the inside of the pan. Is it normal ? The vehicle is 1997 Venture with a 4T-60E transmission. Should I add a magnet before I put it back together ?

I just replaced the head gaskets on my Grand Prix. Everything is put back together but it doesnt want to run. It will run if you hold down the throttle but it is very rough. As soon as you let off the throttle it dies. any suggestions. please help.

How do the tire pressure indicators work, specifically on the Buick LeSabre/Lucerne if it makes any difference. I was under the impression that wheel rpms were sensed and the computer looked for a difference.

After having a tire repaired and all wheels rotated my sensors are giving me crazy readings. I know they can be re-set using the remote control and a "tool" which is a magnet. Can anyone tell me what kind of magnet I could buy to avoid a 2 hour wait at my dealership for this 5 ...
