Stereo Problems11 May 2006 00:34 GMT16
My in-laws bought a '99 Grand Prix SE used.  When they got the car, the
radio played but the display was dead.  Then the battery died.  When
the battery was replaced, the radio seemed to be dead.  The theftlock
light flashes and the radio will not power up.  Completely dead.
Lower manifold gasket observations10 May 2006 23:24 GMT25
Finally mined my way down to the lower intake manifold on the 3.4L engine in
my daughter's 2000 Alero today.  (By the way whoever out there said that he
can do this whole gasket change job in five hours has my utmost admiration
and respect.)

are stock HEI weights available?10 May 2006 12:55 GMT3
I have a GM HEI distributor that weights are no longer available for
(1979 Chevy 250 I-6.) I do not like the aftermarket weight kits (Mr.
Gasket etc.) with their light weight weights. I have a selection of
springs available to me so I am not all that concerned with the EXACT

Injector Pluse Width Jumps around08 May 2006 03:58 GMT4
Still trying to pin down what initiates the herky jerky episodes. One
anomaly in the scans is
occasional rapid changes in injector pulse width. E.g., suddenly goes
from 5.3 ms to 2.3 ms
Why Do Some Import Owners LIie About Their Cars?08 May 2006 00:55 GMT30
Yeah, that's right, some of them are pathological liars.  They
wouldn't recognize the truth if it slapped them in the face.  Based
upon the statements by some of the imported car owners, the dealers that
sell their make of cars shouldn't bother operating repair facilities

drive/neutral/reverse  doesnt matter, you can hear the car like it
engages in gear but stays in park.  The car wont move in any gear.  If
