Intermittant Rough Start on 2005 Malibu19 Jun 2006 20:39 GMT1
Two or three times a month my brothers 2005 Malibu starts and runs
rough for perhaps 5 seconds and then smooths out. He describes the
action as a "bounce" whatever that might mean. The dealer told him to
use only Shell gasoline but that didn't change anything.
Security Light questions about 1995 Buick Regal19 Jun 2006 16:45 GMT8
Okay, the car will not crank. I just bought it used yesterday. Probably take it to a mechanic after the weekend, it's Saturday right now. I suspect it's the passkey or vats as the key looks like it's been around the block a few times
Okay my questions (so I can figure out if ...

tire pressure18 Jun 2006 20:33 GMT6
Just got a set of Michelin tires put on my Pontiac Grand Prix, 2001.
Checking the recommended tire pressure on the label on the truck lid
revealed that I need to inflate the tires to 30 PSI.  This seems low to me,
does anyone know why the recommended inflation is 30 instead of 35, ...
The glass back window on a 97 Pontiac Sunfire18 Jun 2006 06:33 GMT4
Hey all. I just recently bought a 1997 Pontiac Sunfire convertible for a
pretty decent price. The car is in excellent condition, except for one small
imperfection. The convertible top has a glass window, but somehow that glass
window has fallen out of its moldings and is now a ...
4.3 astro van oil pan removal18 Jun 2006 04:53 GMT2
How do you get the pan off of this guy?  I removed every bolt I could
find, including the one hidden above the oil filter housing, and the
ones that attach it to the bell housing. I put a wood block against it
and whacked it but it won't move.  I'm stumped, and frustrated.  It's

I brought my 02 Impala LS, 39700 miles, in today for a coolant flush.  The

The owner's manual basically says that the fluid never needs changing (at

of the top of the steering column, not far down from the steering
wheel, in the area where the "hub" (section where the automatic
Who is really Killing GM...The Union? or GM?15 Jun 2006 23:52 GMT12
From what I have been reading, but maybe I am reading it wrong but it seems
the real culprit in GMs problems is the union. It seems like the union has
GM by the balls and is holding them hostage. How many jobs do you know where
you get paid for not working when the assembly lines ...

Shortly after leaving home in my '87 Buick Le Sabre, it shiftly fine
into first gear, but when shifting into second, seemed to suddenly go

The movie "Cars"15 Jun 2006 22:13 GMT2
Anyone who enjoys cars and movies should go see "Cars" while it's in
the theatres, take your kids or grandkids but very much oriented to
adults as well, any movie made by the Pixar people has such stunning
effects that it's really kind of a must-see on the big screen.
1987 Delta 88 Trans failure?15 Jun 2006 19:40 GMT2
Just recently my 1987 Delta 88 3.8L V6 oldmobile had a transmission
failure.  The engine appears fine so I do not believe that to be the
problem.
No warning or anything and now I have no drive in any gear.
