So, what's the final consensus on oil-changes?
For years, I've followed the "3 months or 3000 miles" rule.
Now, my GM owners manual says;
"Wait 'til the "Change Oil" light comes on".

Does someone know how to access the rear sunroof drainlines so that they
can be repaired/replaced.I would think that the headliner would have to
be removed but I can't see how the rear grab handles/lights are to be
removed.Any ideas on how to best approach this repair ?

The o-ring for the fuel rail supply fitting on the 2000 Alero I've been
working on is brown.  What is the significance of the color?  Different
material?  Different hardness?  Something else?
If it's important to duplicate the color are those o-rings available at

About two years ago the air conditioning on my 1999 Jimmy (4.3L V6)
was working, but wasn't overly cold.  I had it recharged at my local
GM dealer which got it working properly again.  According to my
paperwork, after putting the dye in the system they weren't able to

I have cleaned the lamp socket with electrical cleaner and checked all
the fuses.
The base of the blub gets melted every time I change it (using a new
bulb of the correct type).

Toyotas are decent quality but hugely overpriced for what you get.
Many American cars are as good of quality, but get you more machine
for the buck.

Alright I have one last problem with my century I have a faulty gas gauge
it will read full untill it is completely empty then bam the light comes
on and the needle drops. Is this a fuel pump issue or is there another way
to fix this with out dropping the gas tank?

I have a 1992 Chevy Lumina 3.1 V-6 that I cannot get the AC to work....
I can run a jumper wire off the AC relay under the hood to ground and the AC
will blow very nice cold air but in doing so the compressor will not cycle.

I have a 1987 Monte Carlo SS with a 305 8-cylinder in it. After
driving the car for awhile, and parking it, there is a strong fuel
smell that comes from it. I open the hood and it seems to be coming
from the passenger side near the firewall, but it could be fooling me.

My van stop running while I was on the highway yesterday, doing about
60mph. When I tried to restart, all the electronics seemed to be
working fine. My fuel and battery lights would flash as I try to start.

I have a 66 belair. I put in a fresh rebuilt 68' 350 chevy motor with
410 hp. I got it all hooked up, and i have a problem when i try to
accelarate, it feels similar to the power of my old original 283 motor.

also like to pull a travel trailer we are restoring. The trailer will weigh
around 5000 to 6000 pounds when loaded. The trailer is currently striped of
