I have a good running 305 and the cam is just showing wear .. I ripped her apart a the block is like new.. the heads are good and didn't smoke at all on start up etc. I was thinking of making a stroker 335. I was told I had to take the pistons out and use 350 pistons and rods.. ...

Im having trouble with my gass gauge, it only likes to tell me when its empty reads full the rest of the time...Is this a fuel pump issue or something easier.

I'm loosing coolant, and it's mixing with the oil so I figure a blown head gasket...or a cracked head. Does anyone know how to determine which head the leak is coming from bewfore I pull the wrong one off? -mike

Some of you may remeber from my last post I just got a new engine put in my car. I have always been a huge fan of synthetic oils in my racing bikes but never used it in a car. I figure going with a synthetic in this new engine is a good idea.

alright guys here it is i went in and tore apart the block on tuesday found my leak...(wasnt hard to find I dumped in water and watched it come out of the block as fast as i put it in) I patched the crack using jb welds regular bond so far it has held up with no leak it will ...

I'm thinking of switching to synthetic oil. (5W30) Is it true I can go up to 25,000 miles to 50,000 miles, as long as the oil filter is changed every 10,000 miles? If, so, then, at 10,000 miles do I just remove the filter and quickly put a new one in, and then top off the oil? ...
