My 2004 Impala Sedan bought new almost 2 years ago, 3.4 motor, 79,000Km, has
developed a water leak on the front passenger side when it rains or when I
use a generous quantity of windshield washer.
It looks like it may come from the air vent under the glove compartment.

AC sound on 96 prizm01 Jun 2006 23:38 GMT10
The ac works fairly well I have to say. Gets the car cold in AZ heat.
I can clearly hear the compressor kick in and out, 10 seconds on, 10
seconds off. It sounds rather mechanical, could there be a bearing in
the compressor going south ? Is this fixable or does it need a new
Question on solevent cleaners01 Jun 2006 20:37 GMT6
I have some 99% alcohol from a drugstore (this is not rubbing alcohol, which
has moisturizers added.)  Would it be good for cleaning gunked-up PCV valves
and the like?  Or should I use a petroleum product such as diesel fuel?  Is
WD-40 any good for this kind of thing?
97 Pontiac Montana Stalling01 Jun 2006 11:24 GMT2
A friend just called with problems with their van.  It will stall out while
driving - as if it had run out of gas.  He's already replaced the fuel
filter and the fuel pump.  The van will start right up again and drive for
unpredictable distances after this occurrence.  Sometimes it ...

2001 Cavalier AC issue01 Jun 2006 02:57 GMT1
When sitting idle, and with AC running, the engine idles eratically.  While the
fan blows, no cold air is produced; when driving the AC works fine.  What could
cause this?
