I have a 1999 Chevy Silverado 4x4 with 64k miles, 5.3 L engine and
automatic tranny.  The truck "stumbles" at different times.  The
problem generally occurs when I first start the engine and put in gear.
 Once I begin to give it more throttle, the problem starts to

1996 S 10 Blazer.  4.3 liter engine.  Just finished replacing the original
engine with one from a bone yard.  The engine runs for about 3 seconds, but
then stalls immediately.  engine runs fine when it is running.  Any ideas as
to what i should look for?  any help appreciated.

I just got back from a weekend round trip of 400 miles of highway
driving. I averaged about 80MPH, and the car got 27.3MPG average for
two fill ups. Overall, the car is performing great, BUT it occasionally
misses at 3700RPM.
