Well folks, finally got the spider gears out of the vehicle, but now have one more question. Someone told me that the carrier that houses the gears needs to be replaced. How do I know for sure if I need a new carrier. No obvious breaks nor pitting. They thought it had too much

'02 Impala LS My fan stopped working at the lowest setting. Figured I'd remove and check the fan resistor pack - what a nightmare. I fiured I'd have to stand on my head to get it out, but the rear screw is so buried behand the foam/plastic

Is there a trick to read the code by counting the flashes on a 94 GMC 4.3 vortec. I was out again last weekend and again the engine light comes on when I am towing my camper.....I got 306 km's out of that tank Brutal.

Just found this problem, engine light on showed a misfire. Had shop double check all of the injectors and fuel pressure, all good. Install a new fuel filter. Then did a new plugs. Thought it might be a spark plug wire, installed a know good one, no fix. Then swapped with the

Some of the electrical connectors on my '63 Corvair have heavy rust. They are plated steel. I can use rust remover to clean them up but the bare metal will rust eventually. I am looking for ways to tin, plate or seal the metal. The only idea that I have is to use silicone grease.
