1997 LeSaber with 70,000 miles wallows over dips in road and on turns. Any suggestions for tires, shocks, maybe springs ???? I'm looking for a "touring" or firm ride, not the "soft" ride. Thanks !!!

Is it true that when a private party sells a used car that they will claim it as a gift (in California) so that both parties can avoid paying a tax? Its been suggested to me that "everyone" does it this way and that my buyer will expect to do it like this when I sell my car. I

Help. Spider gears went out of my 2000 Blazer 4x4. The retaining bolt that holds the pin in place is shirred off. Pin will slide up and down slightly and will turn all the way around but I still can't get the pin out. I have tried hitting it to get it out but it will not come. Any

I've changed the front pads on this car a few times with no problem, but the rear caliper mechanism confuses me. It seems like there is only one bolt to remove. What's the trick to properly changing the rear brake pads on this car?

At night when the lights come on automaticly I can not turn on the parking lights only. You turn the switch and nothing changes. During the day you turn the switch and it works like it is suppose to. Is the switch bad or is it something else?

I would change my tranny fluid myself, but if I do it I won't be able to get it out of my torque converter. I read on another ng that you can drill and tap a plug in to the converter. Is this true? I have a 1984 gmc 1 ton 350 automatic 400 tranny.
