92 Chev CK1500 Silverado - problem with stereo19 Aug 2006 03:36 GMT1
The stereo in my 92 Chev Silverado is acting up. The problem is that
the audio to my speakers is cutting out and replaced with a loud
repeating popping sound in the speakers. The volume of the popping is
unrelated to the volume setting. The fuses are all fine.

Intermitently, the car will not start.  You turn the key and nothing.
I am going to check all the connections to the starter.  I am also
taking a close look at the anti theft key.  I have heard they can go

The parking brake on my 95 LeSabre is the type that you press once to brake
and press again to release. It doesn't stay down; there is something wrong

I realize that it will be hard to do (restore a bit of faith
in GM's engineering), but here is a bit of info on this
particular engine, found in the Impala.
We had one of these apart the other day, it bent a rod
Buick Regal won't shift out of Park16 Aug 2006 20:31 GMT4
I've read a few things on this group and others about similiar

specific situation before having my car towed to a dealer.
Thanks in advance for any information.

i have a 92 olds tornado trofeo and a 89 buick lesabre both with the
3.8. The olds has 151000 miles and the buick has 169000. both cars run

that the buick is older and heavier with more miles, one would think
"Buick Lucerne can earn its own reputation"16 Aug 2006 04:12 GMT18
Buick Lucerne can earn its own reputation
Not since the Grand National faded into oblivion at the end of 1987,
has Buick offered anything even bordering on a performance-oriented
car. Ending a 10-year V-8 drought for Buick, the Lucerne is a step in
Help-Gas guage 93 Buick Century 6cyl16 Aug 2006 03:47 GMT3
My son picked up a 93 Buick Century with 46,000 miles. Clean car, runs
well, well maintained. The only thing wrong with it is that the gas
guage is not registering properly. Is there a way to see if it is the
sender in the tank or the dash guage itself?
