NO ACCESSORY POSITION On Ignition Switch20 Oct 2006 07:34 GMT13
A relative has a 1987 Chevrolet Caprice on which the ignition switch on
the steering column has no accessory position for playing radio ect.
The owners manual has an illustration showing it, but it's not on the
steering column. I don't remember ever running into this problem on a
95 MONTE CARLO INSTRUMENT CLUSTER IS IT ACTUAL MILEAGE ??19 Oct 2006 01:13 GMT3
Could someone have changed the instrument cluster to one with lower
mileage?  Would doing so show up in the computer or elsewhere?  Thanks

I have a '92 Cutlass Supreme.  I just tried to open the hood but the release
lever does nothing. Apparently the cable going mup to teh release is broke.
How do I get the hood open now to replace the cable?

Hey guys, have a 93 buick skylark custom with a 3.3 litre. Replaced the
starter last night. The starter seems to work fine (AutoZone Duralast
Replacement). My problem is when the starter engages the flywheel it
doesn't disengage, yes it makes a awful sound. I assumed that maybe the

the car runs fine when I first take off and when my automatic trans shifts
to second. When I go a little bit faster and it attemps to shift to third
the engine bogs down. If I slow down again the car runs fine. Does anybody
have any idea what the problem could be?

I have a '93 Cavalier.   Both headlights use to work just fine untill
last night.  Now when I turn the switch to power the headlights only
the running lights turn on.  When I hit the high beams they will turn
on as I am putting tension on the stick but once it engages on they

My 93 pontiac grand am does not have brake lights or turn signals that
work.  We've replaced bulbs, replaced the brake switch on the
floor...Now someone tells me that there is a control switch in the

My Emergency-Parking Brake cable came out of the reaer brake drum a
while back.
Other than not working, of course, the little idiot light for the

circuit. At idle it slowly drops idle speed and stalls. It is not
plugs, cap, rotor, TBI is new last year. No codes are coming up. I have

fuel economy hasn't gone up too much over the past 20 years.  Tom and Ray
said that it was because automakers have focused more on
