2000 Lesabre transmission mounts03 May 2007 17:47 GMT1
>From driving the car it feels as though the rear trans mount is soft
and needs replaced.  I went to rockauto.com and the only transmission
mounts they list are under the manual trans listing.  My car is an
auto trans.  Are these mounts the same for manual and auto trans?
Muffler Collapse03 May 2007 17:26 GMT8
Is it common for a muffler to collapse in the center under normal use?
I just took my vehicle to Midas. They indicated my muffler is not
covered under warranty because I must of had some sort of accident
that resulted in smashing my muffler. Despite not having any accidents
Airconditioning problem03 May 2007 16:53 GMT3
The car is a 1998 Buick LeSabre Limited, 3800, etc.  It has the electrically
operated
air conditioner control system (as opposed to the vacuum one) and does not
have a cabin filter..  Both the passenger and the driver can control the
Questions regarding repair of rear cab mounts on 1991 Chevy K1500 Pickup03 May 2007 03:50 GMT2
I have a 1991 Chevy K1500 4WD short-bed pickup. The rear cab mounting
brackets have rusted through and the rubber cushons or mount pads are
falling through the steel brackets, which are welded to the frame. As
such, the cab is sinking down towards the frame, and the cab is
oxygen sensor problems03 May 2007 00:11 GMT4
I have and '89 cavalier and a problem. My ECM is telling me there is a
problem with the O2 sensor, code 13 or whatever it is. I've replaced
the sensor, then I checked the wiring harness. There was no Problem
with the wiring harness. Is there another O2 sensor or is there
Wheel/Tire Size02 May 2007 17:49 GMT6
Reading an ad for the new Jeep,
and one of the selling features listed,
( besides more cupholders ) was 18" wheels.
I notice a trend toward bigger wheels in many cars.
theft lock unlock02 May 2007 17:00 GMT10
How do I unlock my GM stereo, I've tried pressing 2 & 3 presets and nothing
happens. Someone said I may have to take it to the dealer because of it
being RDS but I wondered if anyone else knew anything about them
Airbag code questions01 May 2007 19:45 GMT4
'03 Impala  Airbag light is on and getting 7 blinks at key on before going
on steady.
I'm getting codes B0022, 26, 42, 43 and 44. All are driver side (LF) deploy
failure codes related to open loops or voltage problems.
VIN decoder??01 May 2007 13:41 GMT11
I have a VIN for a 2004 Chevy Express.  I would like to decode it.  The
kind folks at a ford truck forum put one together for ford trucks.
Someone must have done the same for chevy.  I have been a ford guy but
we need a new van and like the awd feature of the express or savana.
Fuel pump failure at only 22K?01 May 2007 12:09 GMT31
My 2000 Chevy Lumina (3.1L) suddenly started whining loudly today
after a long drive - obviously the fuel pump since it comes from the
rear.  I can hardly believe the pump would go out after only 22,000
miles.  Granted, I bought the car used (from the government -it was a
99 Sunfire trouble starting when engine warm01 May 2007 02:32 GMT1
I am at a loss to determine why my 2.2l sunfire will not start easily
after it has been running for a while.  When the the engine is cold in
the morning it fires right up.  An hour later or four hours later it
takes 15 to 30 seconds of cranking to get it going.
