AC/Heat Airflow in 96 chev Lumina20 Jun 2007 18:59 GMT11
I have an airflow problem (in my heat/ac) in my 96 Chevrolet Lumina.
I think I've narrowed it down to either being the rotary switch that
selects airflow, or the blender(s) it controls.  Is there a good way
to test one or the other without having to dissassemble the whole dash

1995 Regal - Brake Light Problem19 Jun 2007 12:50 GMT4
The 3rd brake light works, the brake light element in the tail lights does
not work when the pedal is depressed.  Also, the tail lights work when the
head lights are turned on.  I imagine there must be an open return path,
though not sure where to look.  I wouldn't think that ...
Power Steering issue - GM minivan18 Jun 2007 19:32 GMT3
I have a '98 Olds Silohette van (FWD - like Chev Venture) that has
145,000 miles now, and I've replaced both hubs and tie rod ends that
wore out.  Now a new problem has gradually emerged, its a sort of mild
sticking and release of the steering  on sharp low speed turns
Buick Century 2000 Electrical problems, lights and locks, etc.18 Jun 2007 03:52 GMT2
In the last 24 hours all of this has happened;
1. I went to lock in the high beams and it would not lock in, this has
happened many times before, but this time ALL the lights went out. The only
way to have any lights was to hold the high beams on. After 5 minutes or so,
2000 Cavalier - missing badly18 Jun 2007 00:57 GMT2
My 2000 Cavalier (2.2 standard engine with automatic trans) is all of a
sudden missing badly. It started about a week ago. I replaced the plugs
(they had about 25,000 miles on them and weren't all that bad) and it
cleared up a little. Now the miss is really bad and the engine is ...

"ENVIRONUST"17 Jun 2007 06:05 GMT76
Funny how some people spend a good amount of energy trying to discount
global warming.
However, let's assume global warming does not exist. Everyone!

Cavalier broken manual shifter17 Jun 2007 03:07 GMT3
Have '92 Cavalier with manual transmission that suddenly lost its
ability to shift gears. The shift lever just flops around.
This same exact thing happened  5 or 6 years ago & the problem was a
black rubber/plastic grommet that attaches the linkage to the shift
2000 Buick Regal electrical problems16 Jun 2007 17:20 GMT12
1. I have a 2000 Buick Regal LS and the drivers side window (front left) will
not go down. Each of the other three windows go up and down just fine.
2. Same Car. When I attempt to use the high beam signal, it does not "click"
and stay in the on position. The high beams do comes on ...
Watch out for CARMAX16 Jun 2007 03:26 GMT4
The following is from a complaint I just register with the BBB. If you've
had similar problems please contact me...
I purchased a Jaguar XKR from CARMAX's Davie Store on 5/19/07. At which time
I noticed several problems with the car that needed to be fixed. I reported
Can someone run a carfax for me on a 98 Lumina please?16 Jun 2007 00:52 GMT4
VIN is 2G1WL52M9W9189317, I believe there's a major mileage
discrepancy as the new title from the dmv says one thing, and the odo
says another (almost exactly a 70k difference, I might add too).  I
think the dmv did a typo because the car is in too good of shape for

Brake Grab Halt!14 Jun 2007 19:31 GMT7
Friends,
I have a 1999 Buick Century. While coming to a stop it seems like the
brakes, I guessed the front passenger side, really grab and the
vehicle comes to a quick halt.  It does not do this when you first
