It has finally happened to me; the high beams in our 2001 Impala will
not stay on. I assume that the MultiFunction switch is the cause.
There is no detent (click) when I pull back on the stalk.

The left signal won't flash, it just stays lit continuously. The right
signal works fine, and the hazards work properly. The bulbs appear to be all
lit. Nothing lights up on the right that doesn't on the left at least.

I have a 2000 S-10 with a 2200 engine. When the car gets to operating
