GM intake seals settlements15 Sep 2007 07:10 GMT15
Does anyone have any knowledge as to what G.M. is offering customers
with this problem?  A friend (not me) has an 2001 Buick with 45,000
miles and the seals went out.  He complained to the Atty. Gen. and
G.M. is offering to go half of the $750 repair cost.

I have seen and smelled smoke coming from the steering column (tilt
wheel) on a '93 Pontiac Gran Prix.  It hasn't blown any fuses.
The car is otherwise very clean (grandma's car) and I have never heard
of any issues with the column on these cars and was wondering if anyone

K & N Filters13 Sep 2007 02:31 GMT4
Hello, I've noticed a few posts concerning K & N air filters, and they
don't seem to be bad.  Against this, Honda owners seem to go berserk
when the subject is mentioned of using a non honda part as regards
engine longevity.  So basically, what I'm asking is: Who's right?  And
1994 Chevrolet 3/4 Ton coolant leak12 Sep 2007 03:27 GMT1
I have a 1994 Chevy 3/4 ton 350 van with a coolant leak.  The leak is
coming from a valve on the passenger side immediately behind the
radiator and below the upper hose connection. The valve is touching
the AC tube that is located there. I think the valve may be a heater
2006 Monte Carlo LT Tie Rod Question11 Sep 2007 17:52 GMT5
What usually causes a tie rod to go on a car?  My car has had a
clunk in the front end for the last 10K miles and the dealer (Palmen
Chevrolet in Union Grove, WI) could not find anything wrong with the
car.

I have a 96 Buick LeSabre and would like to add daytime running lights. I

I see that the wiper motor and wiper module for the W-body's are listed as
separate part numbers (module p/n: 88958110, wiper motor unit p/n:
88958109).
Is this actually the case? I have someone asking me about an '03 that the

Please help! I own a 1997 Olds Cutlass Supreme with a 3100 V-6 motor. I
thought the coolant dirty so I changed it about a month ago, using some
radiator flush and then flushing it out good before adding new orange
DexCool to it in a 50/50 mix.
