| 1999 Intrigue - Metal Shavings Near AC Compressor | 29 Nov 2007 13:43 GMT | 1 |
I see metal shavings along the metal frame, just below the ac compressor. Are the metal shavings a sign of clutch slippage and ultimate failure? There seems to be quite a bit of play where the clutch plate engages. Should I replace the clutch or the entire compressor? Also, I ...

I have a 94 Chev Lumina, and for over a year, the ABS fault light would come on (sometimes it wouldn't). I didn't care about the ABS as long as the "regular" brakes worked. Yesterday, the brake fault light came on when I started the car.

| next car? | 23 Nov 2007 10:02 GMT | 17 |
OK... looks like I will need a new company car within the year... "standard issue" is an Impala; but I might be able to "downgrade" to a Malibu, G6, or Aura. I'm seriously tempted to "downgrade" if I can. Whatever I get will probably be a base model version of whatever car

| metro fuel pump? | 21 Nov 2007 19:44 GMT | 2 |
Here's one that's got me stumped. My 1997 Metro (4 cyl) will just cut out while I'm driving. The problem is intermittent, and seems to be worse when the car is hot - after about 15 minutes of driving. It acts as if it isn't getting fuel - the "jack rabbit" effect. I cahnged the fuel ...
