1999 Intrigue - Metal Shavings Near AC Compressor29 Nov 2007 13:43 GMT1
I see metal shavings along the metal frame, just below the ac compressor.
Are the metal shavings a sign of clutch slippage and ultimate failure?
There seems to be quite a bit of play where the clutch plate engages.
Should I replace the clutch or the entire compressor?  Also, I ...

I have power seats with memory in my 05 GMC Envoy SLT.
When I use my remote to open the door, after my wife has used the

to my pre-program position.

92 Buick Park Ave with 112,000. Belongs to relative and she does not
know if tranny has ever been serviced. The car shifts great at all

smooth. (I've been driving it a week. nice car, One owner and garage
Cobalt 07 FOB programming28 Nov 2007 23:17 GMT1
I found an extra FOB for this car. I understand that it must be programmed and
only a GM dealer can do it. Is that true? Any information would be
appreciated, thank you.

94 Chev Lumina Brake Fault Light27 Nov 2007 14:04 GMT2
I have a  94 Chev Lumina, and for over a year, the ABS fault light
would come on (sometimes it wouldn't).   I didn't care about the ABS
as long as the "regular" brakes worked.
Yesterday, the brake fault light came on when I started the car.
The Lumina's back!!25 Nov 2007 16:45 GMT9
(Got those brakes fixed. Seem to be just fine).
Another problem surfaced just before the brake job and hasn't gone away yet.
Thought it might have been caused by low level of brake fluid.
The service engine light comes on occasionally. Seems it my be most often
'92 Buick Riviera Oil Pressure Sending Unit Location?25 Nov 2007 08:37 GMT2
We have a '92 Buick Riviera 3.8L with a horribly erratic, digital, oil
pressure gauge.  I'm having trouble locating the Oil Pressure Sending
Unit, so I can check for loose connections and/or replacement.  Where is
the Oil Pressure Sending Unit located on this vehicle?

I Know Of Another One24 Nov 2007 23:12 GMT4
The venerable 2cv (citroen) although only a 2 cyl engine, got in
excess of 50mpg, and could cruise at 65 all day in its later
iterations.  Their full size sedans such as the ID 19, while providing
ample seating room for 5 adults also got in excess of 35 mpg (as

next car?23 Nov 2007 10:02 GMT17
OK...  looks like I will need a new company car within the year...
"standard issue" is an Impala; but I might be able to "downgrade" to a
Malibu, G6, or Aura.  I'm seriously tempted to "downgrade" if I can.
Whatever I get will probably be a base model version of whatever car
metro fuel pump?21 Nov 2007 19:44 GMT2
Here's one that's got me stumped. My 1997 Metro (4 cyl) will just cut out
while I'm driving. The problem is intermittent, and seems to be worse when
the car is hot - after about 15 minutes of driving. It acts as if it isn't
getting fuel - the "jack rabbit" effect. I cahnged the fuel ...
