340014 Nov 2007 03:49 GMT3
Are there any significant changes in the 3400 from the 98 to the 04. Just

for the tranny needed in another vehicle. My wife drives a 04 Montana with
the 3400. Just trying to make up my mind to keep the 98 ...

I picked up a Pontiac and it has a Valet 552T remote start / security system
in it.
However, it appears it wasn't a complete installation.  I can remote start,
and lock/unlock the doors just fine.  And the range on the remote start

full time?

False (red line) reading on 05 Montana temp guage?11 Nov 2007 15:55 GMT2
About 2 hours into a 3-hour drive I noticed the temp gauge up at the
start of the red zone just under 125F. Twenty minutes before, I'm sure
it was below the half way mark (100F).
I tried slowing to 60 mph from 75 for a few minutes, but it remained
'92 Ccentury 3.3 misses under load11 Nov 2007 15:48 GMT3
'92 Buick Century 3.3, 160K, has the classic symptom of bad plugwires,
missing under load.
Tthe wires appear old anyway, if not original, and I was going to
replace them and check the plugs.
Polish for plastic lights11 Nov 2007 14:07 GMT32
I've seen the discussions on the 'polish' to use on things like headlight

I thought the polish was available at Wal-Mart, but I looked yesterday
and couldn't find anything.

plate or the newer sensor in hub design. The problem is the book doesn't
say when the change occurred or if you can replace the older units with
1994 Cavalier RS not shifting10 Nov 2007 04:59 GMT1
The car in question will start up normal and will shift into first
gear and then second gear with no problems.  However, when it comes to
shifting into anything beyond 2nd (I'm kinda ignorant about this car
