Anyone here have any first-hand experience with the Chevy Cobalt ? Our BUICK is getting a bit "long in the tooth", and I may be looking for a smaller replacement this summer.

Is it possible to get an old looking gm made of new technology? I am thinking about some grand looking car but made of lightweight fibers etc. I would not mind having my grand old impala made of fibers.

| oil in the sand | 16 Mar 2008 13:16 GMT | 8 |
It looks like the price of oil is making new places attractive. The conventional oil may be in difficult places in the middle east. The rising prices have made the oil sands more attractive. So that the sands in Canada will become profitable.

| Heater Core Replacement on 1990 Buick Wagon | 16 Mar 2008 13:11 GMT | 4 |
I have a 1990 Buick wagon with smoke coming in the vents after the car heats up. I suppose it is the heater core. I don't want to spend big bucks getting it fixed at a garage. Which is better -- adding leak repair or connecting inflow and outflow

| 2000 Monte Carlo Wiper Motor Location? | 16 Mar 2008 00:52 GMT | 1 |
OK - dumb question. The wipers on my 2000 Monte Carlo SS are exhibiting symptoms that sound like a bad pulse board on the wiper motor. Question is, where is the motor? There's nothing obvious on the firewall. Do I have to remove the plastic cover/grille on the

Car is an '81 Cadillac deVille diesel. The transmission won't shift into overdrive and the torque converter won't lock up. This started very recently; before that it worked fine. Any ideas what exactly is causing this, what it'll take to fix it, and how likely it is to leave ...

| LeSabre noise | 13 Mar 2008 02:35 GMT | 18 |
My 96 LeSabre started to make a noise when we turn. It is on both sides but worse on the right side. First thing I thought was ball joints. I jacked it up and no play in the wheels. I greased them just in case. While it was up I had my wife turn the wheel and found the sound was ...

The original brake rotors on my 2002 Aurora have lasted many miles, but it's time to replace them. If I buy new replacement rotors from a GM dealer will they be as good as the originals?

| Split rear seats in the Grand Prix | 12 Mar 2008 14:19 GMT | 1 |
I have a 95 Grand Prix that I drive and really like. It has the solid rear seat. I also have a 99 Intrigue that is mostly assigned to my daughter at school. It has the 'split' rear seats that fold down.
