| Driver information computer and avg. m.p.g. | 17 Apr 2008 02:25 GMT | 7 |
I have been checking my fuel mileage(3 times so far) on the HHR and each time the computer gives about 1 mpg> more than what I figure. That's not too much of a difference, but am wondering which is the more accurate? I would think that the computer would do away with differences ...

| '08 Impala SS owner?? | 17 Apr 2008 01:55 GMT | 7 |
I recently rented a SS Impala from Alamo. I forgot how much fun it was driving a V8 sedan! Instant acceleration on the highway, no constant downshifting when hitting a slight upgrade, passing is as simple as can be.....BUT....

| 0W-30 Oil, Whats your view on this | 16 Apr 2008 03:28 GMT | 2 |
I noticed yesterday that Mobil has come out with fully synthtic 0X-30 Oil. They claim it would save you more money as far as gas mileage goes. Just wondering what others think of this, and how safe would it be to put into a older vechile.

I have a 1996 Buick Century with electric windows. The two front windows (driver and passenger sides) will not operate at all. Does anyone know if this could possibly be a fuse or something else, like a relay.

| 95 GP with 3.1 surging | 15 Apr 2008 13:15 GMT | 2 |
My 95 Pontiac GrandPrix with 3.1 is surging. Not bad, VERY subtle. I have no error codes, other than EGR (I know I have a clog) but the surge is under light acceleration, and the EGR shouldn't affect that. Anyway, I'm gonna try a soak-out of the EGR this weekend if the weather

| Sounds a Bit Like BackFire | 15 Apr 2008 01:01 GMT | 2 |
When I start my 07 Malibu SS at about 1/3 up on the heat scale, and then at about halfway, the car makes a sound which to me sounds like a "muffled" backfire. It seems to occur when the car is being driven fairly slow. I don't usually warm the car up much: I just wait a

Hi everyone, I was hoping someone could enlighten me on the subject of the latest UAW-General motors contract. The thing I don't understand is the two-tier wage's. From my understanding new "non-core" hires will earn around half that of current assembly workers, around $14,

| I did it !! 2002 Monte Carlo lower Intake Manifold Gasket replacement | 14 Apr 2008 03:16 GMT | 1 |
I did it !! Finally finished replacing the lower intake manifold gasket. Not an easy DIY job for the first time, especially on an engine I've never worked on before, but I can see how it would be pretty quick after doing two or three.

My 94 LeSabre once every week, or every two weeks, stalls. After 10 or 15 minutes it starts again and works normaly until the next time. At the time it guives the engine codes 361 and 321, but when working normal has no codes present. I don't think is the ECM because I ...
