I have a friend who has been given a hand me down '87 Civic Si.  It has not
been driven or ran for years.  No one put oil in the spark plug holes for
proper storage of the engine.  What can be done to minimize damage and the

   There is a noise coming from seemingly inside the engine of my 2001 CR-V
(87,000 kilometres, 52,200 miles). I have checked everything I can and
nothings seems loose. It is not consistent and comes at various lower rpms

I got in my car this morning to start my car to go into school, when I

Hey,  I just recently had a short throw shifter installed on my car (2000
civic SiR/Si in US).  Works great except when in 2nd or 3rd and the car is
slowing it self down/engine reving the shifter vibrates and makes a rattling
noise.  By placing my hand on it it goes away.

I've been shopping for an Accord and have found a demo with 4k miles. It is
