| '04 Accord DX: no radio code? | 04 Jun 2004 00:06 GMT | 15 |
My dad recently bought an '04 Accord DX, and just realized last week that he'd not received a radio code in any of the usual places when he took delivery. He stopped by the dealer, and they said they'd look it up, but after a while came back and said that the DX models didn't ...

| 90 Honda Civic Hatchback won't start | 03 Jun 2004 21:51 GMT | 6 |
I am looking for help from a Honda guru. I am beyond my own expertise. A couple of months ago I bought a Civic at a charity auction in hopes of fixing it up and using it as a work car. I had to replace the motor. After several weeks of part time work with only

| civic hybrid maintence, 30k miles | 03 Jun 2004 20:48 GMT | 7 |
So owners manual says at 30k miles the hybrid needs oil change, CVT fluid changed (transmission), air filters, tire rotation balance, and all the inspection and what not. The local honda dealer says that'll run 360 dollars... which is a whee too much in my opinion. I think I gotta ...

| What is too much key weight in ignition? | 03 Jun 2004 16:21 GMT | 10 |
My husband just bought me a preowned 2002 Accord EX V6, for which I am extremely grateful. Being the outstanding Honda Sales Manager that he is, he proceeded to detail the specs of the car. One particular point he made was that I should not add my new Accord key and alarm control

| Low battery condition killed my keyless entry | 03 Jun 2004 14:33 GMT | 1 |
Honda Accord Aerodeck 2.0 1995 I left my headlights on one evening and nearly drained the battery. I tried starting the car several times but just got a clicking sound. This made the voltage drop so far that the dashboard clock reset itself.

Will need to purchase a car for a new job I'll be starting in 4 or 5 weeks, been doing a lot of the preliminary leg work and decided a new car suits me best (lots of daily mileage will accumulate), and a Honda Civic would be nice, but what has got me is the delivery time???

| 1995 Honda Accord - Starting? | 03 Jun 2004 05:39 GMT | 1 |
Today after driving my car for about 40 minutes, I stopped and went to class. I came back an hour and a half later, and when I tried to start the car, it didn't work at all. No clicks at all. The lights all came on in the car, no dimming, nothing.

| engage parking brake before shifting to park? | 03 Jun 2004 05:21 GMT | 7 |
This is more a general automotive question, but I do own a Honda, so I thought I'd try it here. Growing up, my father always told me to engage the parking brake on a car with an automatic transmission while the car was still in drive or reverse

| 1997 Civic :: rear door won't open | 03 Jun 2004 04:58 GMT | 4 |
I've got a 97 Civic. A while ago some part fell off the external door handle so the door would not open from the outside; only from the inside. Fine. Now, the door won't open from inside or out. I think the child safety lock engaged. How can I open the door? There's got to be a way, ...

| Replacing Accord factory stereo | 03 Jun 2004 03:35 GMT | 5 |
My factory AM/FM cassette from my 96 Accord is biting the dust, sort of like shorts out and back in, unpredictably. First off, any simple 'this is a common honda problem' type of solutions? Thought not. My main question is, if I pursue a used Honda factory AM/FM/CD

| ester oil equivalent | 03 Jun 2004 01:01 GMT | 2 |
My compressor calls for pag oil iso 46 and i was ready to put in the oil when I thought to myself that maybe its a bad idea. My car originally was an r12 system and was half a.s retrofitted for r134a. I'm not sure if the oil in it is pag or ester based or a mix of something
