I remember a few years ago seeing this Honda Accord commercial that showed a guy welding his hood shut, and the commercial said that he could drive the car for 10 years without needing to open the hood. Is this true? Can Hondas go that long without needing maintenance?

How hard is it to change a valve-cover gasket on a 1988 Honda Accord LXi? Seems easy enough...take valve cover off, remove old gasket, put new one on (apply sealing chemical too?) put valve cover back on & torque bolts to specification. Anything special or specific I should know? ...

This problem happens when starting and when at the stop sign, the car shakes and you can feel it in the wheel, also when I switch from D to N at the stop sign the shaking is not that bad, any hint about the problem? other than that everything is fine.

I've done all of the troubleshooting tips given here (relay, fuse, 1 thermoswitch) and jumpered the fans from the battery and neither worked. What are the chances that both fans would go due to an electrical problem?
