My son's old '91 Accord with 168k on it is a bear to get out of Park into
any gear and back into park.  It feels like some kind of linkage issue.
Someone mentioned a cable to be lubed.  How hard would this be to get to?
Just remove the console?

I would like to know if is normal to hear a noise when shift from N to
R, when the engine is hot (normal temperature).
The noise is not present (or hard to hear) when the engine is cold.
