Ontario emission test,FLUNKED,then PASSED,then PASSED again,WHY?13 Jul 2004 22:22 GMT1
This car flunked the Prov. of Ontario's Drive Clean Test (ASM 2525 test)
and then passed it 12 minutes later, and then passed it again 12 minutes
later. The only difference was the gear that the car was operated in. In
the first test the car was operated in 3RD gear (1800 RPM), and ...
Winter plan for getting an 04 Odyssey?13 Jul 2004 21:46 GMT7
Okay, my desires for an Odyssey have turned out to be a bit premature
given the current state of my trade-in and the cost of the vehicle.
I spent the afternoon at a local dealer I've had good luck with for 15
years. I want a EX-L with Navigation system and got them down to
p.c.v. valve13 Jul 2004 20:16 GMT5
reading the group archives, i see that changing the p.c.v. valve is
commonly recommended for hondas.  well, i recently did this on my civic
because it had a "flat spot" on acceleration and i'd fixed everything
else that was possible.  what an incredible difference!
03 Accord... Interference engine13 Jul 2004 20:12 GMT1
My daughter recently bought a used 2003 Accord.  I know that Accords
used to have interference engines.   Is this still true for 03 Accords
as well?   If so, I will warn her to be mindful of changing the timing
belt at the recommended interval.  BTW, what is the mileage that she
where to find exploded views of body parts and and part numbers13 Jul 2004 19:20 GMT1
Greetings HOnda fans,
My 94 accord met the guard rail during the last snow and the rail won.
Can anyone direct me to a site where I can find exploded views of body
parts.
The end of my 93 Civic Coupe13 Jul 2004 18:23 GMT1
The poor girl finally gave out yesterday morning on the way in to work.
The car suddenly lost power, and on downshifting to 4th (going
110km/hr) the power declined even more.  Heard a noise from below
(catalytic area) and heard a pop, followed by a cloud of smoke out the
Civic Coupe/Automatic Gas Mileage13 Jul 2004 18:01 GMT10
I'm curious what others get in around
town driving for this configuration car. Specific year is '99.
Also, if someone knows about how larger wheels and tires affect the
speedo/odo with regards to MPG, the car has 17" wheels with 205 45 17
Problem starting car13 Jul 2004 15:01 GMT8
I got a 92 Accord. Every once in a while it won't start.  It'll crank OK,
but it won't start.  If I keep trying, it'll start. Like I said, this
doesn't happen all the time.  What could it be?  PCV valve maybe, spark
plugs, spark plug wires?  I just got the injectors cleaned.  I'm ...
Prelude, 1988 headlights (popup) issues13 Jul 2004 13:24 GMT2
I have a 1988 Prelude (fuel injected, leather seats, 4 wheel steer
model)
I) How do I replace a headlight bulb? Are the headlights sealed units
or can I, (like in the 1982 Vigor I used to own) simply get access to
glove box removal13 Jul 2004 12:58 GMT1
I need to replace the ac filters (interior) and I believe I need to remove
glove box to get to them.  Is this correct?
I am having a problem removing the glove box.  I removed the two Phillips
screws on each side, as well as the two Phillips at top center of glove box
Extra   Main Relay  did not solve the problem!13 Jul 2004 12:58 GMT9
I don't know if the original talk about main relay (89-91 civic/accord
default) here gave a solution to my car starting up problem. They said
it's main relay problem. I'm getting doubt it.  I put another main
relay when my car was not starting up right. Well I got the same
Dexcool Experience13 Jul 2004 11:59 GMT24
Sorry, but I couldn't help it.  I'm a recovering pyromaniac and I
decided to add some extra fuel to the never ending Dexcool fire.
I bought into the Dexcool hype back in about '98, at which time I
converted my '88 Acura Legend to Dexcool.  The waterpump went bad on
power window problem '90 accord13 Jul 2004 05:29 GMT1
I  have a 1990 Honda accord and the driver's side window will not go up.  It
has power windows and the other windows are working fine. I can't pull it up
manually and  i even took the inside skin of the door off and tried to pry
it up to no avail.  There must be an easier way to get ...
Power Steering Fluid - best choices and price13 Jul 2004 05:28 GMT4
I went to purchase Honda power steering fluid to flush out and replace the fluid in
my 2002 Accord.
Is this still true that I should only use Honda brand?
They said I need two 12 oz bottles.  I that correct?
90 Honda Accord - Leaking Oil out of side of engine like mad13 Jul 2004 03:42 GMT3
Hey everyone.
Today my sister moved my car and while she was doing it, the car suddenly
started leaking oil out of the right side (if you are looking at the
engine from the front of the car). It leaks very quickly where it actually
