Hi gang -  I've done some google searches trying to get some insight
into my cars issues.
The car is a 97 Civic EX with 163K miles on it.  The timing belt was
replaced at 93K, and the first 140K were strictly highway miles.

Any thoughts?

My 89 Prelude "Diesels" after turning it off.  It's quite annoying.

03 Accord V6 - odd intermittent sound on starting02 Jul 2004 13:41 GMT2
Odd sound when starting, before engine cranks over, sounds either like
a grinding or electrical sound, seemingly from around the glovebox
area. Sound does not occur at every start. Has happened with car cold
and with it warm. Sound lasts from 1/10th to 1 second.

Thanks in advance to all of the experts.

I have a '99 CR-V EX w/ real time 4WD that has - beginning a little over

Chipped Crankshaft Pulley02 Jul 2004 05:38 GMT41
I accidentally chipped 0.3 ounce of steel off the edge of my 91 Civic's

retain the power steering belt. I did this trying to get the crankshaft pulley
bolt off (as I want to go after some seals that will ...

This car flunked the Prov. of Ontario's Drive Clean Test (ASM2525 test)

later. The only difference was the gear that the car was operated in. In
the first test the car was operated in 3RD gear (1800 RPM), and ...
