'99 Civic Clutch20 Aug 2004 20:37 GMT2
I've noticed the engagement point of the clutch on my '99 civic si is
getting perilously close to the top of the pedal travel.  From what I
understand, this means that the clutch has been worn, and will soon need
replacing.  Can anybody recommend a good independent Honda shop in the ...

there even any sensors etc. around the calipers or the rotors?
Thanks

intermittent double revs readout tachometer CRX20 Aug 2004 02:48 GMT1
Intermittently the tach on my CRX reads twice or double the actual
rpm. Its an HF and the idiot upshift light still lights at the
appropriate shift points, and the car seems to run normal.
The signal seems to be coming from the igniter (in the distributor)
Hood release broken20 Aug 2004 01:29 GMT8
My hood release is broken on a 91 Civic LX.  I took it to get an oil change,
and not even the shop could get it open.  Anyone know how to get around it?
Only thing left by the hood release is the wire and the black cable that
holds it.
Turn signals don't cancel?20 Aug 2004 00:28 GMT4
Ok, this is sort of a minor quibble but my previous car, even on just a mild
lane change, would automatically cancel the turn signal.  I bought a 2000 EXv6
and the turn signals only cancel if you make a pretty sharp turn.  A moderate
to mild turn and you have to manually shut ...

Hi Group,
I am posting to this group because, as Honda owners, I greatly value your

95 Honda Civic A/C compresser cycling on/off-need help!!!19 Aug 2004 19:02 GMT1
Hi,  I have a 95 civic DX with 120k. I just had the a/c recharged by a
reputable mechanic.  The compressor now cycles on/off every 30-45 seconds
regardless of outside temp.  The condensor fan cycles along with the
compressor.  The mechanic is very certain that he got the recharge
Header question19 Aug 2004 16:01 GMT3
can anyone tell me the difference in a 4-2-1 and a 4-4-1 header.  i know
that it means for a 4-2-1 that it goes from 4 to 2 to 1 pipe(s) but what are
the performance differences?
I am looking to put headers and a free-flowing exhaust on a '95 civic lx
