2000 CRV 4WD 5-speed manual transmission18 Aug 2004 11:44 GMT1
Are there any service manuals or instructions available for repair of the
subject unit?  Are replacement parts available?  Special tools?  I am
especially concerned with things like bearing preload.  I have had
transmissions apart and back together, so I am not a novice.
strip bolt question18 Aug 2004 10:07 GMT7
I have a bolt(12m 1.25) that connects the engine mount to the
transmission( it's one of three bolts) on an 89 Civic hatch,5spd,  that can
no longer be torqued. I initially re-threaded the bolts and cleaned out the
thread hole with the re-thread tool. But it's a no go.

I am considering buying a 2004 Honda Accord or an Accura. Can someone
please give me some guidance as to why buy one vs the other besides that
the Accura is a couple of thousand dollars higher in price. I am leaning towards
the Accord because it is simpler and has higher mileage. On ...

My son slammed the trunk of a 2003 Honda Civic LX on a grocery cart. It took
a chunk of paint off of the lip of the trunk hood. What is the best way to
repair it?

tailpipe. I thought this indicated a catalytic converter problem.  But in a
new car could this mean anything else??

I was originally in the market to purchase a 2004 Accord EX v6 until I
heard of the recalls regarding the transmission.
My question is will this problem be fixed for the new 2005's that come
out after September? Or is there a chance they will be recalled down the

the wrong place to ask.

Honda Wheels for Integra18 Aug 2004 00:47 GMT7
I have a 96 Integra and want 13" Honda wheels to replace the alloys
that came from the factory. I have a long drive every day and need to

1996 Accord EX $ cyl: Transmission Options?18 Aug 2004 00:15 GMT1
125,000 miles and the dealership says that it is starting to go.  It slips
into 3rd, really bad slip in the winter time.  They quoted me ~USD$ 2,400
for a replacement with 62,000 on it. I thought that they put on "rebuilt"
transmissions?

Hi, I drive a Civic LX manual transmission 2001 which I bought new in
