My faithful 1994 Civic EX has nearly 140K miles. It runs great but the check engine* light has been coming on recently, randomy. Sometimes I'll go through my 5-mile commute without a flicker, but sometimes it comes on after 1-2 minutes.

When I have the headlights on and I come to a stop, right before the car has completely stopped the dashlights flicker. Same thing happens when I start up again. Only does it for a few seconds and coming to a stop or resuming speed from a stop. Is this normal?
