What size of speakers are ideal for the inside of the door for a 2002 CR-V?

My faithful 1994 Civic EX has nearly 140K miles. It runs great but the check
engine* light has been coming on recently, randomy. Sometimes I'll go
through my 5-mile commute without a flicker, but sometimes it comes on after
1-2 minutes.

When I have the headlights on and I come to a stop, right before the car has
completely stopped the dashlights flicker.  Same thing happens when I start up
again.  Only does it for a few seconds and coming to a stop or resuming speed
from a stop.  Is this normal?

My drivers side window will not go up or down, I can here the motor working
though. I have ordered the regulator and not the motor. However, I wanted to
ask if anyone has any experience with these. Just want to make sure I have
everything I need when I pull it apart...

   Recently my tachometer was really jittery.  When I was accelerating,
upon reaching about 3,000 RPMs the tach needle started jumping back and
forth rapidly between 3k & 5k RPM even though I was only accelerating
gradually.  I noticed it seemed like my car was "missing" ...

I don't want to start this project if I can't finish it. Is it doable with
destroying my
