As others have wondered...keep my Prelude?15 Sep 2004 06:05 GMT6
I'm the original owner of a '90 2.05si ALB 'Lude. I've really liked
this car, but as of late last year a lot of things started happening,
some small, some not so small. There's 143,000 miles on it. The A/C
needs replacing as the compressor has quit, the ABS (ALB) is likely
Noise when using fan or A/C?15 Sep 2004 06:02 GMT5
I have a 97 Accord.  Whenever I turn on the fan (the A/C button is already
depressed), I hear a noise coming from the right side of the car.  When I turn
the fan off, the noise takes a few seconds to die down and then finally
disappears.  When I turn the fan back on, the noise ...
90 Accord: Water in trunk15 Sep 2004 04:51 GMT6
My new to me 1990 Accord EX 4-door gets water in the trunk after a
carwash. It not coming from the top, but seems to be from the wheel
wheels or somewhere along the side. There is a little surface rust on
one side, but no obvious hole that I can see.

94 Honda Civic -  handbrakes left on for long time15 Sep 2004 03:57 GMT4
My friend forgot to release the handbrakes while driving her 1994 Honda
Civic for some 20 minutes on a freeway/highway. She lost most of her
braking capability for a while before regaining some control. A day later,
it is a little better, but her braking is far from normal. Any ...
Honda Prelude Front Rotor Replacement15 Sep 2004 03:51 GMT1
Can I remove the front rotor from a 1999 Honda Prelude by just removing the
one bolt at the bottom of the brake caliper and flipping it up without
removing the whole caliper?
91 Civic: Starter14 Sep 2004 23:29 GMT1
Looking for those who have replaced the starter themselves on a fourth
generation, 91 Civic.  I have limited tools, but the basics.  I'm wondering
1.  if I would need a jack, or if I can replace from the hood.
2.  Where is the starter??

Won't start in hot sun-91 Accord14 Sep 2004 01:44 GMT11
My 1991 Accord EX won't start in the late afternoon when
the sun heats up the driver's side of the car. As soon as the
sun goes down and the vehicle cools, the car starts instantly.
I suppose it's vapor lock or some such fuel system issue.
1995 Prelude A/C Compressor14 Sep 2004 00:10 GMT5
I just added refrigerant to my 1995 Prelude SE (125,000 miles), and noticed
both while I was recharging and after that the compressor doesn't cycle off.
Is it normal for Honda compressors to run full-time (while the "A/C" button
is on)?  I can't specifically remember if it cycled ...
Anyone heard of "Motorvac"???13 Sep 2004 18:01 GMT6
I came back from my usually trustworthy mechanic who recommended I get
a motorvac done on my 1999 honda civic for $150 (Canadian).
Nothing?s particularly wrong with the car, but I do notice some
hesitation when switching gears.
New noises and where to get maintenance13 Sep 2004 15:33 GMT6
I have a '97 Accord with 94k miles on it.  Recently I've heard dull
vibrations coming from underneath the car as I'm accellerating, especially
uphill.  Also the accellerations in general have been getting louder.  Any
ideas as to what it is?
