| 2001 Honda accord and Viper alarm | 29 Sep 2004 03:11 GMT | 1 |
I installed a Viper alarm on my 2001 Honda accord two months ago. Now malfunction indicator lamp "check" comes on. I brought my car to the Honda dealer and they said nothing wrong with the car, maybe the viper alarm made it on. I wonder if anybody has similar problem.

| 2004 Accord EX V6 or EX 4 Cyl???? | 29 Sep 2004 02:25 GMT | 14 |
Got a great quote on both. Do I spend the extra $1700 for the V6? I'm test driving both models this morning. From some of the reviews I've read, sounds like the 4 cyl has enough power to satisfy most people??? Any comments would be greatly appreciated.

For a few months now my Honda security system goes off unpredicatbly. It doesn't matter if the van is in the garage or parked outside. I was told that the van needs a new battery, I have never replaced it since I purchase the vehicle 5 years ago. Could an old battery solve

| Bummer - removed tire 1 wk after tire store put it on... snapped off the threads on one of the wheel studs | 29 Sep 2004 01:14 GMT | 7 |
Bummer. Last week I had to get a tire replaced on my '93 Accord (alignment caused premature wear) and, today, as I loosened the lugnuts to do some other maintenance, one of them felt like it was binding. What was I to do? Honda uses domed lugnuts so I couldn't squirt any sort of ...

| 2005 Accord LX price | 28 Sep 2004 21:23 GMT | 4 |
Dealers in my area are beginning to accumulate 2005 Accord Sedans, and one dealer has quoted me a price. But neither Edmunds nor Consumer Reports have Honda 2005 prices up yet, so I don't know whether I have any negotiating room and if so, how much. Does anyone have an idea as

| New floor mats for 95 Odyssey ? | 28 Sep 2004 20:29 GMT | 1 |
I want to get a new set of gray cloth floor mats for this car. I am having trouble finding them. I am referring to the removable set of floor mats I bought as an option, not the built-in carpeting that is attached to the metal floor panels. I believe the set is 4 pieces -- 2 for the ...

I have a 98 Accord 4cyl EXL w/129000 miles. the Check engine light and the other little yellow light is on. I have checked the manual and both lights relate to emissions it seems - one is the catalytic converter and the other is a emission control module. performance does not seem ...

| accord fan running | 28 Sep 2004 13:55 GMT | 4 |
My wife's 96 Accord is at about 200,000 miles. Still runs fine. I noticed thatg on a hot day, after a drive, when the car is shut off, the radiator fan will still run for quite a while, sometimes at least another 15 or 20 minutes. Should I be concerned about this? It does NOT ...

| Driveshaft Stuck in Hub | 28 Sep 2004 12:52 GMT | 3 |
I attempted to replace the driveshafts in my '91 Civic Si this weekend and failed. I got the ball joint separated fine, but I could not get the driveshaft out of the wheel hub for the life of me. I soaked it in penetrating oil, beat the hell out of it, tried some light heat ...

| Civic'91 alignment. | 28 Sep 2004 05:03 GMT | 2 |
I took my car for alignment a few weeks ago, but I can see on my new tires that they're wearing on the outer corners very fast!.. I saw this in an article at: http://www.familycar.com/alignment.htm "On many front-wheel-drive vehicles, camber is not adjustable. If the camber

| 1990 Honda Prelude SR transmission problem?... | 28 Sep 2004 04:49 GMT | 4 |
I have a 1990 Honda Prelude SR automatic. Can anyone tell me whether there is suppose to be 4 or 5 gears? I think I may have a problem with the transmission... when I reach 110 km/h it remains at about 3500+ rpm. I hear it supposed to be at around 3000rpm or less.

| Buying an older Odyssey | 28 Sep 2004 00:05 GMT | 4 |
I'm in the market for a car, and the 98 and earlier Odysseys seem like just what I want in terms of size and functionality. Too bad 97 and earlier had lawnmower engines. But in the 98 they put the VTEC, from the Accord, I believe. But there are no 98s to be had. Could I get an ...
