| I might buy this 1990 Civic, see . . . | 06 Oct 2004 20:53 GMT | 8 |
I'm looking at buying a cheap used car and I have a lead on a 1990 Civic -- manual tranny. I've done a little (very little) research on this model and it seems to be the least mecahnically reliable model year of the "recent" Civics (one website has a 5-star rating system, this ...

| 2004 Accord Exhaust Smell | 06 Oct 2004 01:15 GMT | 11 |
Just took delivery a couple of months ago and for the fourth time I've smelled a rotten egg smell. Three times after the car was turned off and once while driving. 1. Is that smell coming from the catalytic converter?

| 2000 Civic Bug Guard | 05 Oct 2004 16:08 GMT | 2 |
I am looking for a rock guard/bug deflector for my 2000 SE civic. I went to Honda and they said that it was an aftermarket part It would include their mark up on top of what they pay for it. In that is the case I would much rather just order it myself.

| Break-in oil 2004 Accord | 05 Oct 2004 05:47 GMT | 13 |
Just checked the oil in anticipation of a trip in my new accord (3500 mi or so) and it's still fine, more than halfway up btw the full and add marks on the dipstick (dipstick is a PITA by the way...). Just wondering, since they're so adamant about not changing the breakin oil

| Speed governor question | 05 Oct 2004 04:12 GMT | 5 |
I'm thinking about buying a 2005 VP 5 speed 115 hp Coupe, but I test drove a 04 LX demo 'cause they didn't have any 05s in stock with the same 5 speed stick setup and did a top end run on the expressway to "see what it'll do". It ran fine up through the gears, even chirped the ...

I'm not sure if I'm looking at the right plug to jump on my 93 Accord SE to read the trouble codes. It's under the passenger side kick panel but it doesn't look like the one I see in my Haynes manual. This one's ablut 1.25" long and 3/8 inch wide. There are no holes to put a ...

Does anyone else find the Honda i-ctdi advert as irritating as I do? Particularly since I've ordered one and I'm waiting for it to arrive. Nice engine - terrible ad. For those (lucky) non-uk readers, see www.honda.co.uk for a taster.
