The upper tank on my '91 Civic Si radiator has a split 1" - 2" long
immediately above one of the two brackets that support the air intake
horn -  the one closest to the battery.  (And, no - I haven't leaned
on the air horn in the past, though that kind of pressure is what

I know that using non-Honda ATF can cause poor performance while it is
present, but can it actually cause lasting damage to the transmission?
Civic Pining16 Nov 2004 01:20 GMT2
My 97 Civic pings no matter what grade of gas I use and the Honda dealer
doesn't know what the problem is.  The car has been tuned and valves
adjusted.  Any ideas?

Remote door lock on civic coup?15 Nov 2004 22:46 GMT3
I recently bought a 2001 civic coupe (european model), and it has central
locking with remote control. But it 's a shame that I cannot "see" when the
doors lock. On my previous car (Accord) the indicators would blink twice
when locking, and once when unlocking. Now, if I'm not sure ...
95 Odyssey burning 2 qts per oil change ??15 Nov 2004 21:43 GMT3
My Odyssey, with only about 75K miles, is going through almost 2 qts of oil
per change (every 3000m). So that is about 1 qt of oil per 1500 miles. This
seems excessive to me. The car runs fine and there is no obvious oil in the
exhaust smoke. Is this something to worry about? The ...

So here I am, back again.  Hat in hand, looking for ideas,

'88 accord lx low beams not working15 Nov 2004 20:03 GMT4
I have a big problem with the low beams not working.  At this point I have
adjusted the high beams to point down until I fix the problem.  I have
checked all the fuses and didn't see any missing or burned.  I just got this
car and have done everything to get it on the road ASAP.  ...

I have a 90 Accord EX, love it!!!! Very clean car, even w/ almost 200k
miles. The car is having a hesitation problem when taking off from a dead
stop. It does seem like you can throttle through the hesitation, b/c once
above 30-40mph it runs great. It also does it when cruising and ...
90 Accord codes15 Nov 2004 17:03 GMT2
hey there I have a 1990 accord LX with only 120 km's on it and it will not
pass aircare. It reads high Hydrocarbons on idle and that is the only test
that they can do on this car cause it is too low to Dyno it so the only way
that I can make it pass is retarding the timing.  So i ...

Need advice on Accord Coupe V6 200315 Nov 2004 08:23 GMT4
I have in view an (in my opinion) excellent deal, a 0 km Honda Accord coupe
3,0 l V6 full options for 15,000 euros (old model). I have other Hondas
(S-2000, Prelude, CRX) but I have no idea how this 6 cylinder engine is
working out.
1999 Accord V6 EGR low flow fixed15 Nov 2004 04:03 GMT2
Just wanted to relate that the cause of the low EGR flow on my 1999 Accord
V6 was intake manifold passages that were almost completely blocked with
gunk.  The RGR passage fix was done around 40k but at 101 k it was almost
blocked closed.  Removing the intake and cleaning the ...
