| CV Joints - New to group | 06 Nov 2004 14:57 GMT | 12 |
Hey. The CV joints in my 97 Civic are toast and I need new brake pads. My questions are; How hard are the CV joints to replace by myself? As in, is it necessary to coax someone else into helping with the promise of beer and cookies, or can I save

I replaced the stock dampers and springs on my '91 Civic Si w/ 134k this past weekend with an aftermarket 'performance' kit (small amount of lowering, forgot to measure). Luckily I had a bushing kit on hand that I am going to slowly install over time, because one of the rear ...

| '92 Accord LX starting problems... | 06 Nov 2004 02:26 GMT | 4 |
Anyone heard of any particular, endemic problem with a 1992 Honda Accord LX in terms of the car not starting well? Most of the time, it starts fine but sometimes it really struggles - and starts - and other times it starts but halts right away. Other times, it doesn't start at

| Post-timing belt replacement questions | 05 Nov 2004 17:01 GMT | 3 |
I just recently had my timing belt changed, on a 98 Accord with 118k. The mechanic was not a dealer, but specializes in Hondas. They also replaced the balance, P/S, and A/C belts. Supposedly they use genuine Honda parts, but I noticed the P/S belt was clearly made by Mitsubishi.

| Mileage issues on 98 Civic | 05 Nov 2004 16:41 GMT | 5 |
I replaced my cap, rotor, and PCV valve with Honda parts about 4 weeks ago on my 98 civic 5spd (205000kms). I noticed a big difference in acceleration. So I gave myself a week to enjoy the newfound peppiness, and then started driving normally again.

| Cold air intake kits? do they work? | 05 Nov 2004 14:09 GMT | 10 |
Do cold air intakes work? Does size, make or brand name matter? Will I notice a difference in power, sound? or is that a myth? Does this save gas, or is that another myth?

| Looking for service bulletin link for 2003 Accord brakes issue | 05 Nov 2004 13:34 GMT | 8 |
There was sometime back when a link was posted for a service bulletin about the 03 accord brake issue where the pads and I think rotors get replaced b/c of a recall. The 03 accord I own was not subject to that recall. So the honda's owner page does not show me this recall, only

| 1999 Accord climate control question | 05 Nov 2004 03:47 GMT | 4 |
I don't know that I'm experiencing an actual problem with the climate control system in my 1999 EX V6, but it is behaving a little differently than it has before, so I figured I'd ask. I've never had any problem with it before; heat and AC have always worked flawless

I've been having great difficulty correctly installing a reman. driveshaft (Cardone #60-4003) on the driver's side of my '91 Civic Si. When I install the driveshaft in the transmission it locks into place, but it is not all the way in. It leaks oil. I replaced the passenger's

I've got a 1996 Accord LX (5 speed manual trans) that's been a great car but the past couple months it's had some intermittent starting problems. It happens when the car has been sitting for a while, overnight or 9 hours during work, I don't think it's happened when the engine is ...
