Spark Plug Question26 Nov 2004 16:54 GMT9
Hi: I want to put platinum tip spark plugs in my '92 Accord, but I was
told by Canadian Tire that I need to tell them whether my engine is an
"A1" or an "A6" (its a 2.2 L, by the way). Any ideas on how I can
find this out? Thanks in advance. - Paul
need advice on service for accord lx 200126 Nov 2004 15:06 GMT3
My accord just hit 3 years and has 30K miles on it.
I've had the oil changes done every 3 mos and
recently had front brake pads replaced as well
as air filter.
air bag computer stolen; expensive to replace?26 Nov 2004 14:42 GMT2
So, some crackhead ganked my stereo, and apparently in his/her
drugged-out haze mistook my air bag computer unit (right behind the
stereo) for something that could be converted into drugs via a nearby
pawn shop.
2003 Accord brake pad anomaly26 Nov 2004 14:29 GMT10
With 30,000 km from new, my accord wore out its rear brake pads with the
front ones 50% worn.
This seems weird to me ..... anyone had similar experience or should I query
binding pads ?

Snow Tires - Blizzak versus X-Ice ??26 Nov 2004 04:27 GMT10
Hi - I'll be experiencing my first ever true winter this year,
as I've never lived this far north before. A lot of people up
here swear by the Bridgestone Blizzak WS-50 (for an Accord) as
THE dedicated winter tire of choice to fend off "non-desirable

wtb: block heater for 93 Accord EX-R26 Nov 2004 01:07 GMT2
wanted to buy: Honda block heater for a 1993 Accord EX-R.
I can't seem to locate a genuine Honda block heater. My mechanic tells me
that aftermarket block heaters may not fit properly and might pop out in
extreme cold. Apparently in southern Ontario the aftermarket block heater
Seat belt Bolt26 Nov 2004 00:03 GMT3
I have a 2005 Honda Civic coupe.  I took off the side panels to run some
wire.  In order to take it off, I had to take out the bolt that holds on the
seat belt on the bottom.  The bolt was very stiff to put back in, and once
its in all the way, you can continue to turn it forever ...
84-87 Keihin 2 bbl carb (probably from honda prelude)25 Nov 2004 19:23 GMT1
I need an exploded view of this carburetor. Main and aux. barrels have
different size jets but they are interchangeable. Any ideas where this info
would be available. Dealers have little info now on carbs. This engine and
carb is now being used in an aircraft. Cheers,  WJD Canada ...
2004 Maintenance Light reset sequence . . .25 Nov 2004 16:21 GMT4
This'll come in handy for those who do their own oil changes.  It
resets that annoying "Maintenace Required" warning light that comes on
at 7,500 miles.  Worked on both my 2004 Accord EX and Pilot EX:
1) With engine turned off, press & hold the mileage reset stem on the

How much should it cost to replace an exhaust manifold in a
'97 Accord? Are used manifolds worth pursuing?
