alloy rims from Accord to Civic19 Nov 2004 00:29 GMT1
I have a set of 16" rims from my previous car (1994 european Accord) that I
want to use on my 2001 Civic coup?. At first sight they will fit.
What tires do I need? On the Accord they were fitted  with Yokohamas 510,
205/50 16. I guess that tire size is still correct for the civic.
Replacing PCV valve in 95 Odyssey18 Nov 2004 21:03 GMT3
This post follows up another one about excessive oil consumption in this
car (now about 1qt per 1000 miles). Several people suggested that a
stuck/clogged PCV valve would do this. So I thought I might just replace it
to be sure. Is this simple/cheap to do myself? I am handy with ...

anyone have a recommendation on replacement tires?  The stock tires
currently on my car are Michelin P205/65R15 MXV4 PLUS 92V M+S ENERGY

I have a 1990 honda accord with 348,000km.  recently it began to take longer
to heat up the interior, and yesterday, the car overheated, but it would not
heat up inside the car.  I checked the fluid and the rad was dry, so I
filled it totally up, drove around for about 20km, and the ...

Does it really matter whether I get OEM from e.g. Majestic, or
aftermarket from the local store from which I *think* it will be

Rough wheels on mornings18 Nov 2004 00:20 GMT1
95 Civic with ~100000 miles
Problem: On cold days specially at mornings whenever I turn my car I
hear noise coming from my front wheels (It feels as if the wheels arent
moving freely, and need lubrication) and it subsides down during the day.
*1996 Accord LX*18 Nov 2004 00:11 GMT3
When I try to start my Accord, there is no cranking sound
for the first two or three attempts.  Then the car starts normally.
What could it be?  Bad starter, ignition switch, starter
relay...???

Quick poll, Would your next car be a honda?17 Nov 2004 22:17 GMT26
I am just curious if you people out there that have a honda, would consider
buying your next car in the future. If so, would you consider, standard or
auto, and civic, or accord?
For those of you whom would. Did you buy your's new or used?
Plugged Egr Valves Why?17 Nov 2004 20:01 GMT2
100K miles dealer said my egr valves were plugged. Said it was caused
by bad gas. He said it was common to some models of Honda. My
questions are: 1. My oil consumption has increased by double in the
last 10k miles. 2. I have noticed an octane knock on acceleration.

So here I am, back again.  Hat in hand, looking for ideas,
or at least some reassurance that I didn't totally f&*(ck

Since the timing belt job, I have gone thru 1 tank of
