2003 Honda Accord Seek/Scan Radio Button Light?31 Dec 2004 23:47 GMT3
Normally, This car has an orange internal ambience at night.
Yesterday, I noticed that the color (light) of my Seek/Scan radio
button turned to a light peach color.  Being that this is a new car
and is still under warranty, is this something for the dealer to
91 Accord Heater Blower Motor Intermittant31 Dec 2004 22:45 GMT2
I have a 91 Accord 5 sp LX.  The heater/AC fan blower was intermittant
when turned on - now it is mostly not working at all.  The 7.5 fuse
(#8) under the steering wheel is OK, as is the 30 amp fuse in the
engine compartment.
96 Civic DX Stereo Security Code31 Dec 2004 19:51 GMT5
I'm about to attempt an install of some equipment through my
CD-player/stereo that will add RCA aux inputs (you guessed it, to
attach an iPod...) Before I disconnected battery power and the like, I
wanted to check with anyone on the thread who knew if my stereo would
Please help me read the Haynes civic/crv manual31 Dec 2004 19:15 GMT2
Well, I'm stumped by another thing in this manual.  Teach a man to fish.
Where in this thing do I find instructions for the removal of the clock in
my 99 CRV?  It /looks/ like one of those pop-out things, but I'm concerned
about leaving pry marks around it if it isn't.
'97 Accord EX Coupe Rust Analysis31 Dec 2004 17:24 GMT3
I'm looking at a '96 Accord EX Coupe. It's exactly the car I'm after, and in
solid condition, however... I discovered rust when inspecting the rear
undercarriage. I need some help analyzing whether this is a serious enough
issue to disqualify the car.
New Tires31 Dec 2004 16:11 GMT5
Hello group:
My civic needs new tires. It takes 185/65-14 but I'd like a wider tire, like
195/65-14 (it is about 1% faster). What are the advantages and disadvantages
I will face? I imagine one is lost of fuel efficiency, but how bad? Other is
Nav DVD 3.40B - Any Significant Changes?31 Dec 2004 16:04 GMT1
I see that the latest Navigation DVD on the Alpine website is version
3.40B.  Anyone know if there are any worthwhile changes in this
version?  More roads added, etc?  I am currently at 1.0230, so most
anything should be an improvement.  My database is dated 9/30, 2002.
Is the auxiliary shaft belt the second timing belt?31 Dec 2004 14:23 GMT2
I have a 1990 Honda Accord and I told my mechanic to replace all of the
front engine oil seals and both timing belts. The receipt that I
received from him had listed as parts replaced :"Timing belt " and
"auxiliary shaft belt". Is the "auxiliary shaft belt" another way of
1987 Accord DX - Clogged Heater Core31 Dec 2004 13:23 GMT1
Three to four years ago my local mechanic was able to unclog my heater core.
It's become clogged again but my my mechanic has moved... So, I'm thinking
of trying a 'reverse-flush' of the heater core using an adapter hose
connected to my garden hose and reverse flushing it with water ...
'82 Prelude, 120K service worth doing?30 Dec 2004 23:27 GMT1
Hi, All,
I'm the original owner of a 1982 Prelude (auto trans) that has had all major and
intermediate service routines performed at dealerships during it's light-duty life.
I'm only now approaching 120,000 miles and receiving the predictable spam on the
Replacing Lug Nut Studs on a 92 Civic EX30 Dec 2004 21:52 GMT4
This is a great group to be connected to...I always appreciate the info.
Can anyone tell me how much is involved with replacing both the front and
the rear wheel lug nut studs on a 92 Civic EX?  Special tools besides hub
puller?  Do the Studs press out?  Etc?
Civic Fuel Pump Compatability?30 Dec 2004 19:43 GMT1
I have an 88 Civic hatchback, with a dead fuel pump.
I have an old fuel pump from a 91 Civic.  My Haynes manual says that the two
have different fuel pressures.  The 88 is 35 to 41 PSI, the 91 is 40 to 50
PSI.

I have a 99 Accord 4 door saloon ES 2.0litre with an annoying problem, the
external temp guage reads 4 degrees warmer  than it actually is (Celsius-
This is the UK). Does anyone know if it is possible to adjust the temp
reading.
Can this price be correct?30 Dec 2004 15:54 GMT3
I need to replace my 1991 Civc valve cover gasket, and this price
just seems too low. I paid more then this for an aftermarket set.
