| Accord LX seat belt signal hassle | 11 Dec 2004 17:59 GMT | 25 |
My 2004 Accord LX has a 'feature', whereby an irritating beep sounds every 30 soeconds for as long as the seat belts are not buckled. While I do wear the belts most times, this is an irritation when I do not.

I have a 2001 CRV that has worked just dandy until a recent problem with my left headlamp. It sometimes works, sometimes doesn't. The filaments appear intact. The connection seems firm. However, when it goes out, sometimes I can jiggle the connection and then shut the hood (with ...

| new 04 accord pulsing brake pedal | 11 Dec 2004 01:11 GMT | 9 |
Just got a new 04 about a week ago. It was a leftover LX. It has Anti-lock ABS brakes and I started to notice a pulse in the pedal during braking. Not "slam on the brakes" stops; just normal slow downs. You know, 60 or so down to 40 mph.

| 1997 Honda Civic question | 10 Dec 2004 21:58 GMT | 9 |
Our Civic was running low on oil, so when my husband went to leave, it died and wouldn't start again. He put in oil, however, now it will not start at all. It tries to start, but sounds like it isn't getting any fuel. Is there a sensor that shuts down the fuel line if the oil ...

| different oil viscosity? | 10 Dec 2004 17:15 GMT | 3 |
I was wondering if there is any problem with using two different types of oil. My accord burns alot of oil (mostly bluesmoke on startup, especially when cold) and sometimes I have to add a quart of 10-40 to my pan full of 10-30 because thats what the closest store has in stock.

| Temperature gauge pegging when I stop... | 10 Dec 2004 12:35 GMT | 4 |
1993 Accord LX 4-door sedan. I already know about the main relay. :) When I stop and turn off the car, especially if I've been driving hard or a long uphill trip, the cooling fan comes on. (Normal, I think.) Today, I was running errands, made a few stops close together, then got
