I'm hoping some of the old timers here (even the young old timers) can

My car is pretty miserable to drive. There's a guy I work with who has a 92
Accord (also MT, also a 2.2l) and we were commiserating about how wretched

Mechanics I talk to say not to get a Honda after model year 2000.  That
Honda really cheapened their cars and did away with a lot of the things that
made them uniquely Honda and different in a better way.

Would like to get your opinions on this:
Brought my 2004 Accord LX, 6 cyl in for the first 15,000 mile checkup.
The Service Mgr. at the dealership said that "they automatically do a front
end alignment on these

Need to know where I can decode the VIN of 2004 Civics. Have tried the
usual search engines but they only give me general information. Any site
or source would be much appreciated.

My head lights, reverse and tail lights work but all the other lights won't
coime on. Is there a relay for that? I tried all the fuses and can't find
any problems anywhere. The turn signal work too so, I know that power is
getting to these lights. Any ideas?

Any suggestions on where I can get cheap atf-z1 auto trans Honda fluid on
the net?

I have a Honda Accord 98. Recently I have got the Check Engine Light
on. I read the Haynes manual and tried to get the error code from the
PCM which turned out to be "90" (using the blinking light method in the
dashboard). I interpreted the code (from the Haynes Manual) as a leak

This question is for a 91 Civic HB with 190K.
The first symptoms were engine misfiring and car jerking when I hit the gas,
occasionally. Then I started having intermittent starting problems. Engine

Last week I noticed, when I was stuck in traffic that the temp.
guage was all the way up at high in red! Completely freaked me
out. Just then the traffic started movin and the temp guage

My wife has a 98 Honda CRV.  I drive it periodically.  On many
occasions the engine just quits.  It always (except for one time) quits
at very low speeds with the engine at idle and the car barely moving.
I have hardly given it any gas.  All of the lights on the instrument

So we replaced the starter, Car started, ran out of gas during test,
didn't think to check gas as it sat there for 2 months! We decided to
fill up with gas and take the new "used" starter out to clean it up,
put it back in, CAR won't fire????
