I was planning on getting new tires for my 2000 Honda Accord LX (4-cyl,
4-door). I am considering the following:
Michelin Pilot XGT H4 P195/65HR15
Bridgestone Potenza RE930i P195/65HR15

recently my check light went on in my 98 accord. when i went to the
dealer this is what they told me was wrong.. they say my catalytic
converter deterioratoin was warn out. its going to cost me 800 bucks
to fix it. was the dealer pulling my legs or are they right. please

I've just test-driven a 2001 (XREG) 5dr HR-V CVT which had 2 buttons on the
right-hand side of the steering wheel "S" & "D". The salesman didn't seem
too sure what these were for, can anyone tell me?

Had the original battery changed and the bone heads did not have a
battery saver setup for the change and lost all the codes and trip odd
and on the way home the oil light now flashes.  COuld they have blown
something in their replacement?

Should the rear defogger switch be on a timer? Ours doesn't shut off
after ten or fifteen minuets like most cars. Is this a problem or do I
need to get use to shutting it off manually?

I have a 2000 Accord EX 6 cyl. with 62,000 miles on it.  My SRS light
came on a few days ago.  I took it to my local Honda shop (not the
dealer).  Their diagnostics test showed:  "Code 09-3 Driver's Seat
Belt Switch Failure.  Suggest return to dealer for check out under

I have a 2003 Civic LX.  I took it to the dealer the other day and they
wanted to sell me a 15,000 mile maintenance for $189.  The main part of
this maintenance was the replacement of the air cleaner element.  The
service writer tried to convince me that I could not do it myself,

hi , my 04 pilot just has 14,000km and there is a seaking noise when i
apply the brake. What is the reason for this is it because i just change

What's everybody think of the Ridgeline so far? Saw some pics of the red one
in the mud over at www.ridgelineownersclub.com and it is growing on me.
Looks like the price tag and MPG will have it right up there with other
trucks out of my reach though. :(
