I found a 1991 Civic hatchback that seems in good shape. I am thinking aboiut buying it for my college age son. I have never owned a Honda auto and know little about them. Would this be a dependable vehicle - 163,000 miles, 5speed, good condition.

My stepfather bought a 93 Honda red 2-door hatchback Civic when it was new so his grandkids could have something to drive. Now it has a terrible oil leak, and the only thing to do is get a new engine. It has a little over 200,000 miles.

I had a 1988 Prelude with 4WS. I loved the car, but wasn't keen on the 4WS. It felt unsafe in some conditions at speed; it tended to wander on certain road surfaces - concrete in particular. Does anyone know if they improved the 4WS characteristics on any of the later Preludes? I

Last night we got a ton of rain around 3:00 am. Evidently the street drains plugged up and the street flooded about 18" deep and it flooded the 2002 Accord (w/ 60k miles)that was parked on the street. It would not start this morning. Has anybody experienced anything like this?

I finally made the move from the expensive Honda dealer service to an independent chain specializing in Japanese cars. I have mixed feelings about it because it did not cost me less than a typical dealer service, but about half the cost was due to a replacement of the distributor

Honda accord 94 automatic. When I put my gear into Drive, I notice that it takes about 3 seconds before the car starts to move forward. At this stage, I haven't stepped on the accelerator pedal yet.
