I have a 2004 Accord LX with about 1,400 miles. At times it gives off a
powerful odor like rotten eggs or sulfur. I've seen posting on several sites
where they say that the company is claiming that this is not a problem.  Has
anyone else experienced this and had it taken care of by ...
Advice on 91 civic20 Jan 2005 02:21 GMT6
I found a 1991 Civic hatchback that seems in good shape. I am thinking
aboiut buying it for my college age son. I have never owned a Honda auto and
know little about them.
Would this be a dependable vehicle - 163,000 miles, 5speed, good condition.

Can the upper timeing belt cover be removed by
removing the valve cover to uncover enough of
the timeing belt to inspect it?
Can rain get inside my Honda's door?19 Jan 2005 19:50 GMT7
Recently I watched a repairman fix my Honda door. With the inside shell off,
there is a plastic wrap that has to be cut at the top to get at the hardware
behind it.
When the repairman reassembled the door he kind of used his hand to get a

Prelude handling improvements after 1988?19 Jan 2005 07:49 GMT1
I had a 1988 Prelude with 4WS. I loved the car, but wasn't keen on the
4WS. It felt unsafe in some conditions at speed; it tended to wander
on certain road surfaces - concrete in particular. Does anyone know if
they improved the 4WS characteristics on any of the later Preludes? I

02 Accord in deep water - any damage?18 Jan 2005 07:14 GMT5
Last night we got a ton of rain around 3:00 am.  Evidently the street
drains plugged up and the street flooded about 18" deep and it flooded
the 2002 Accord (w/ 60k miles)that was parked on the street.  It would
not start this morning.  Has anybody experienced anything like this?
Idling speed18 Jan 2005 04:51 GMT16
I finally made the move from the expensive Honda dealer service to an
independent chain specializing in Japanese cars. I have mixed feelings
about it because it did not cost me less than a typical dealer service,
but about half the cost was due to a replacement of the distributor
do I have a transmission problem? (j)18 Jan 2005 04:02 GMT3
Honda accord 94 automatic.
When I put my gear into Drive, I notice that it takes about 3 seconds
before the car starts to move forward.  At this stage, I haven't
stepped on the accelerator pedal yet.
Flywheel? Starter Issue? 1984 - 1987 Accord? Nope!18 Jan 2005 03:19 GMT2
Hey there Honda Owners,
My name's Dan and I'm an avid honda fanatic. I've owned around 3 honda
