CD Changer pin config18 Jan 2005 01:23 GMT2
I am looking for a pin configuration for a 2002 CIVIC EX bus cable
(rectangular connector) to a 1997 6 disk CD changer (round connector).
Anyone know where I might find the information?  I think that I saw
a couple of them pre-made, but wanted to save a few $$$....

Exterior Temperature Sensor on CRV17 Jan 2005 17:18 GMT5
I have an 05 CRV and I have a question about the exterior temp sensor.
The outside temp here (Winnipeg, Canada) this morning is minus 35, but the
temp sensor only reads minus 30.
Does anyone know if there is a limit on how low the sensor will read?
'96 vs. '98 Integra - advice?17 Jan 2005 13:45 GMT1
I'm shopping for a used Integra, and I've basically narrowed it down to
a couple of choices.  They're both LS models - a '98 with 72K, and a
'96 with '74K.  Both in very good condition, both with cloth interior,
both on original clutch and timing belt so no advantage there.
#4 plug wire problem17 Jan 2005 08:02 GMT4
My 95 Civic LX started "missing" three days ago. It's been raining a lot.
Upon inspection, the #4 plug wire had popped up out of the valve cover -
approx. 1 inch and was wet.
After drying the wire off, and drying out the hole, it ran OK for 1/2 day
Honda Fuel Consumption17 Jan 2005 07:34 GMT7
What could be a "normal" fuel consumption of a 1996 Honda Accord (2.2L,
4 cylinders, automatic)...and what actions could be taken in order to
enhance its performance? is it possible that fuel consumption can be
related to some faulty part that needs to be changed?
Parking Brake Left On17 Jan 2005 04:30 GMT6
My wife has a 2001 Accord EX and she accidentally drove about 15 miles on
her way home with the parking brake partially engaged.  When she parked, she
smelled an acrid, electrical smell coming primarily from the rear right
wheel.  We realize that this can cause damage to the rear ...
96 ex stalling while idling16 Jan 2005 21:52 GMT2
A friend of mine has a 96 ex and says when the engine is hot and he is
idling at a long traffic light sometimes the engine will just start idling
really rough and then stall out.  He starts the car and it's ok.  Sometimes
for the rest of the day.  This happens more when it's hot.  ...

Low Mileage 88 Accord - Smoke on Startup16 Jan 2005 19:47 GMT2
I've recently acquired an 88 Accord DX automatic which had 70k miles on it.
I'm sure this is correct because my wife's grandmother bought it new and
kept it until I bought it from her.  It looks and runs good and the body and
interior is in excellent shape.  Gets about 25 mpg around ...
Noisy Engine16 Jan 2005 14:15 GMT2
My wife has a 2001 Accord.    When she first starts it up, the engine is
noisy.   (I compare it to the noise the valves in my dad's old Chevy used to
make)   Once the engine warms up, it is fine.   The car has been doing this
for a couple of years.    It gets regular service at the ...

1997 Civic Buying Advice16 Jan 2005 03:04 GMT5
I am considering buying my friend's mothers 1997 Honda Civic LX.  It has
only 67,000mi on it and was wondering if someone could tell me what
scheduled maintenance should have been performed on the vehicle as well
as any thoughts on any problem areas to look out for.
Buzzing at startup/ring gear16 Jan 2005 02:47 GMT1
'87 Accord - automatic transmission replaced 30,000 miles/2 years ago.
When I went to start my car today, it happened...I got that high pitched
buzzing noise. It sounds a lot like the noise when you mitakenly start a car
when it is already running.
Will a Civic pull a fourwheeler?16 Jan 2005 01:37 GMT5
Right now I have 1999 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4x4 that I got to pull my Polaris
Sportsman four wheeler to different sites and it does a great job at this,
but the problem is I'm going back to college to soon will be doing a lot of
driving every day to classes, about an hours commute ...
