I'm thinking of buying an Element (LX 2wd) for around town driving and taking the kids to school. What are the pros and cons you've experienced? I'm a big Honda fan and have bought two CR-Vs in the past. My wife has the 2004 CR-V and I would be driving the Element. To be honest, I ...

| 2003 Pilot Clunking Calipers | 12 Feb 2005 15:51 GMT | 15 |
Has anyone had any experience with the brake calipers clunking on the first brake application after changing direction? The dealer says this is normal for this car. I told them it's bull for a $35K car to make that kind of noise.

My 91 Civic's right rear drum brake makes a "wunka-wunka" noise every now and then when I press the brake pedal while driving and coming to a stop. This began two days ago, after a heavy snowstorm (8 inches or more, so around brake drum height), parking lot (at the top of a ...

The leather steering cover on my 1997 Honda Accord (UK car) is worn down and I would like to have it replaced. Unfortunately Honda UK do not supply covers - prefer to sell a new steering wheel for £600 ($1000+) instead. Do you know of anyone who can supply a genuine Honda

| which minivan to buy? | 11 Feb 2005 21:10 GMT | 9 |
My 1992 Dodge Caravan is getting old (it runs well, been lucky..at 150,000) and I am planning to buy a minivan this summer. It won't be a new one. It will be most likely 2 to 4 years old depending on the model. I noticed that Ford minivans are the cheapest,

Just got to drive my wife's new 2005 Element. It's spacious, quiet, solid-feeling, nicely laid out, good visibility, responsive steering, peppy engine, good radio (satellite ready), smooth cruise control, lots of handy features. Once you get used to its odd looks and design ...

| PCV Valve | 11 Feb 2005 14:04 GMT | 4 |
91 Civic DX, I think I said in a previous post it had 122,000. It actually has 222,000...typo. I replaced the pcv valve today. Before I took the valve off of the intake manifold I unclamped the hose. The top of the valve was full of black soot.
