I have the XM radio, and the light in the console has gone out. Radio and all A/C controls work, and I can see what the indicators read (if I put a flashlight beam on them) but the light doesn't work. Any ideas? Obviously, I'm hoping that this doesn't involve replacing the radio.

| Radiator Fan | 10 Feb 2005 03:19 GMT | 9 |
I replaced the thermostat in my 92 Accord over the weekend. All seems well now except that when I turn the car off now, one of the radiator fan starts and runs for at least 3 minutes. I pull the fuse to shut it off, not sure exactly how long it will run. It has never done this ...

| '89 Civic dipstick ? | 10 Feb 2005 01:11 GMT | 4 |
Picked up an '89 Civic LX last year at this time--and didn't have an owner's manual. Haven't had a chance to order one yet. At any rate, the engine oil dipstick doesn't have 'Full' and 'Low' / 'Add' marks on it. Just two dots/holes. I'm assuming that the dot/hole furthest from the ...

| Civic idle variation | 10 Feb 2005 01:00 GMT | 1 |
When my 1990 civic (~180,000 miles, 1.5L, manual transmission) is started in the cold, engine rpms tend to drop to almost stalling in few seconds of running, then they recover to the usual "cold" 1,500 rpm after few seconds. The idle rpms also occasionally drop to about 500 rpm

| Loud Civic brake noise | 10 Feb 2005 00:59 GMT | 10 |
While sitting in some stop-'n-go traffic in my '89 Civic this weekend I started hearing a loud cracking-like noise when I stepped on the brakes. It only happens when applying light pressure to the pedal and I only

Whats up people, Last night I was driving in North Florida with about a quarter of a tank of gas and my engine light came on. There doesn't seem to be anything wrong with the performance of the car, since the light has come on. I

| 2005 Accord ... Should I? | 10 Feb 2005 00:15 GMT | 21 |
My lease is nearly up on my 2002 Accord. I've been leasing accords for 8 years now. But this last one had some issues ... it needed a new transmission (and even the new one is showing some early symptoms of trouble). The brakes also wore down at about 25K, earlier than any

A small oil leak was discovered when we had our 2004 Accord serviced. Investigations revealed that the block was cracked or forged wrong. Has anybody experienced or heard of this problem with the Accord 4 cylinders? Any recalls listed ?

| 1992 Honda Civic DX Lighting problems | 09 Feb 2005 16:51 GMT | 1 |
Recently the fuse that powers the dashboard blew. This seemed to have caused the tail-lights to stop working, the brake-lights and signal lights work fine. When the problem first began, I could be in park/idle and the dashlights would work until I started driving

| Radiator cracked & replaced - what next? | 09 Feb 2005 14:37 GMT | 2 |
I have a 1995 Honda Civic that recently started overheating. It would slowly use coolant and I would continue to top it off. Also bought a bottle of Barr's Leak Stop, and that seemed to stop the slow leakage. Until yesterday. Everything was fine, until I looked down and saw the temp ...

| Monotone horn | 09 Feb 2005 12:28 GMT | 4 |
While honking at some idiot who cut me off in a left turn only lane, the horn on my 89 Accord went from a dual tone to a single tone. Is my horn now permanently disabled? And where is the horn? I looked around under the hood and couldn't find anything that looked like a horn.
