| Quiet tires=soft tires? | 16 Mar 2005 20:40 GMT | 8 |
I had a debate with a co-worker about tires today. I have 4 Michelin Pilot MXM4 (All-Season P205/55 R16 89V) and I find them loud. My co-worker told me that the road noise is mostly from these tires and that low-rolling-resistance tires are hard, so

| Tire/Wheel Query | 16 Mar 2005 20:37 GMT | 6 |
Looking for a good tire for a 2001 Civic sedan for highway commuting in rural Alberta. I'd say 90% of my driving is along major highway arteries, 5% city, 5% gravel. The stock Firestones and replacement BFG T/A M80's didn't fare well in longevity. BFG's were worn down badly

| Need web site re: Diagnostic Trouble Codes | 16 Mar 2005 18:08 GMT | 5 |
I recently purchased an Actron CP9125 OBD II Code Reader. It was on sale at Kragens for $49.95. They did not have any in stock so I visited Auto Zone and they called Kragens and pretented to be a customer. Once they confirmed the sale price at Kragens--they sold me the same model ...

| Timing belt / water pump | 16 Mar 2005 17:18 GMT | 15 |
I own a 2001 Honda Civic. It has about 100,000 KMs (62000 miles) I just brought my car in to be repaired. The Honda dealer told me I have to change the timing belt and water pump. Athough the timing belt is not broken, he recommended I change it since it is all cracked. ...

| 87 Civic Overheating | 16 Mar 2005 07:13 GMT | 4 |
For the past few months (since winter really kicked in up here), my temp. gauge will be right in the middle most of the time while driving. However, when I have it parked and leave it running, even only for a minute or two, the temp. gauge will quickly rise to the red line.

| Civic horsepower sucks | 16 Mar 2005 05:32 GMT | 11 |
Comparable subcompacts far outrank Civic when it comes to performance. When is Honda getting its act together? Some of the competition Dodge SRX, Saturn Red Line, Subaru have 200+ hp.

| Release Date--2006 Civic Si | 16 Mar 2005 04:58 GMT | 1 |
I subscribe to "Honda Tuning" magazine and just received the April 2005 edition. I learned from page 4 that there were many complaints related to 2005 Civic Si--mainly in relation to the engine and how the car looks. It had very "disappointing sales performance" according to the ...

www.helminc.com is selling FACTORY authorized honda repair manual for $70 + $7 SH, and I like them for clarity and clear pictures. But the Chilton's and Hayes manual's seem to be cheaper. Can some one recommend which is better. Thanks in advance.

| 90 civic brakes | 16 Mar 2005 01:21 GMT | 3 |
I replaced the master cylinder on my 90 civic and now the brakes lock up after a short ride. It seems the more I use the brakes, the more they lock up. I even replaced the master cylinder again since it was the only thing I messed with. Any Ideas appreciated.

| Poor Mileage on 2004 Civic | 15 Mar 2005 16:39 GMT | 4 |
I bought a Civic EX last summer, but drive only 300 to 400 miles per month. I currently have only 3600 miles on it. The vast majority of my driving is city driving, and the city is San Francisco, which means lots of hills. Even so, my gas mileage (on those rare occasions when I ...
