Smell gas--'05 Civic10 Apr 2005 04:35 GMT5
Today when I started my car after digging it out of snow, I smelt gas.
Since I am a very first time Honda owner, I am not sure if this is
usual for a car with barely 2000 miles on it. I'd love to hear your
opinion. Thanks!

not mentioned in the index. Where is it located in my car. I'm not having

Rough Idle in 1999 Prelude10 Apr 2005 02:26 GMT3
I have a 1999 Prelude, non-SH. Quite some time ago I got a check engine
light. I pulled the code and it indicated a problem with the CKP/TDC
sensors. Despite that the car ran fine.
Last week I found the car to be idling roughly; it's RPMs were lower than
99 Civic Si Problems10 Apr 2005 02:02 GMT6
I own a 99' Civic Si with 208K on it.   Engine light on due to P1457 EVAP
code.  Dealer says the entire emission system needs to be replaced and
stated the EVAP system failure was due to the overfilling the gas tank.  Any
advice.
accord transmission10 Apr 2005 01:24 GMT2
I have an 89 accord 5 speed. all the gears work just fine except 5th gear.
I was told that with the older Hondas a single gear could be replaced. Is
that true and how much can I expect to pay?
SRS Unit Failure?10 Apr 2005 00:28 GMT17
I have a 1996 Honda Civic EX with 52,000 miles on it.......the SRS light
stays on so I called the Dealer and was told the up front cost to run the
diagnostics was $71.00 and that would be deducted from any actual repairs.
Ok so the Code was 07-2 and 07-3 which means SRS Unit Failure ...
Ugly MPG surprises after tire / wheel upgrades?09 Apr 2005 13:16 GMT15
I'm contemplating upgrading wheels and tires on a new LX 4cyl 5M, and
the Tirerack surveys really don't offer much info regarding fuel
economy of tires.
I'd rather not give up more than 1-2 MPG in the search for better
OE Tires:  Load index and safety?09 Apr 2005 13:13 GMT7
So the Michelin MXV4 S8s on my new Accord can handle up to 1400
pounds at 44psi, and that's all great.  But Honda sets the required
pressure at 30/29 for this particular car ('05 4Cyl 5M LX), and that
begs the question:

Honda ATF Fluid or Valvoline Maxlife Dexron III Fluid09 Apr 2005 07:51 GMT11
Drained  the tranny fluid from my 97 Accord this morning, but Honda
store is closed. The manual said I can "use Dexron III as a temporary
replacement, but it should be drained and refilled with Honda ATF as
soon as it is convenient." So I put Valvoline Dexron III Extended

Power antenna malfunction09 Apr 2005 05:26 GMT14
I just noticed this morning that the power antenna of my '94 Accord LX
got stuck in the open position and I could not push it down even
manually after turning the radio off.  Later I extracted the antenna and
I took it to a Honda dealer's part store to see if the length of the
91 Crx Si Problems09 Apr 2005 04:33 GMT4
Hello all.  I have a 91 Crx Si completely stock with 57,000 miles. I

the car drops down almost to the needle, but it has not yet stalled.
I have just given it a complete tune-up (plugs, wires, cap, rotor,

I have a 4-door Honda Accord, 1993, EX with a five-speed manual

I need to get some rear brake work done and two different mechanics are
telling me two different things. One is saying that the A1 calipers are
