Timing Belt Question05 Apr 2005 21:41 GMT18
I want to hear about people's experience about this, how long a timing can
last in a 2000 Accord LX ?
I know 80,000 Miles is recommended, but if you go over say 110,000 is it
still safe ?
2005 Accord:  iPod-friendly?05 Apr 2005 21:09 GMT11
Is the 2005 Accord iPod-friendly, or not?  I don't own an iPod, but given
the iPod's large installed base, and the high quantity of iPod-friendly
car stereo interfaces these days, it makes sense to me to think about this
as I plan for my next car.  I'm leaning toward an Accord ...
1997 honda odyssey abs 05 Apr 2005 20:56 GMT2
The problem I am having is whenever I first switch on the car and drive for
about 10 miles the abs light comes on and stay on.  If the car ignition is
switched off and the car restarted the would go off and when driven for a
few miles it comes back on.
Unknown switch assembly.05 Apr 2005 19:24 GMT2
I'm trying to clean out the back room of the shop, so of course it's
e-bay time for all those random parts that are lying around.
I've run across a Honda wiring harness with part number 35700-SE0-A02.
A quick check on www.slhondaparts.com reveals it to be a "Switch
Spark Plugs Vibrating -- Valves?05 Apr 2005 14:02 GMT6
I have a 92 Honda Civic DX Hatch and when looking from the front of the car
back, the left most spark plug vibrates while the car is running. When I
push on top of the spark plug cable right at the valve cover, it seems like
something is hitting the spark plug and it's jumping up ...

2005 Honda Civic LX05 Apr 2005 05:53 GMT5
A good friend of mine just informed me that her 5 month old 2005 civic is
making a noise to the front end. When she took it to the local dealership,
she was informed it was a brake issue.  She was told that this was a
problem associated with the Honda Civics for the past couple ...
2001 Accord maintenance question / concern ...05 Apr 2005 04:01 GMT24
I drive a 2001 4cyl Honda Accord sedan. I just hit 96,000km, and went to
the dealership to find out what needs to be done. I was told my car needs a
type 4 maintenance (~400$) + trans fluid change (more $$$ on top of it).
I was shocked to find out that type 4 is nothing more than ...

my igniter unit's conked out for the second time in 12 months.  honda
don't sell whole new distributors any more and i'm leery of continuing
to spend $70+ dollars a time for oem honda igniter units if they don't
last.  especially when it costs me $$$'s to have my civic towed each ...
1998 Civic LX Wipers Don't Work04 Apr 2005 23:58 GMT4
Hi ... can anyone tell me how to change the wipers motor on my car? At
least how to get to it and where it is, if telling me how to do it will be
too long. Any help is much appreciated, I couldn't go to work today because
it was raining.
Civic wheel area04 Apr 2005 22:14 GMT3
Please excuse my lack of knowledge.  We just got a 2005 Civic-and when you
look at the tire from tire level, you can see into the engine.  My husband
says there is a piece of metal/plastic that should go here.  The dealer
says we can come look at the other civics to see if they are ...
Owners Manual Holder04 Apr 2005 21:21 GMT12
Can someone tell me where I might be able to purchase a nice organizer that
would hold the manuals that came with my new Accord? I need at least 4
sleeves. I got spoiled when I drove Volvos, and I should have kept the
organizer that came with my last Volvo, Honda doesn't give you ...
Need recommendation for online source for Honda parts?04 Apr 2005 15:50 GMT8
There seems to be many companies and dealers that sell Honda parts
online, but I am looking for one that sells more than just the standard
stuff. For example, I need a replacement part for my 97 accord that is
a module consisting of a plastic framed piece with the integrated door
replacing wheel bearing on 97 accord04 Apr 2005 05:33 GMT1
My 97 accord with 140K miles has been experiencing noise that sounds
like a louder version of snow tire rumble with a wobble harmonic (even
though I have a brand new set of very quiet Goodyear Comfortrak tires).
The Honda dealer found a worn wheel bearing and wanted almost $350 for
where to get rebuilt engine04 Apr 2005 05:06 GMT2
Anybody have any information on where to get a good deal on a rebuilt engine
for a 1996 Accord EX 4 cyl Vtec?  Also if you have any information on an
automatic 4 speed transmission for this vehicle it would be appreciated.
I live in Seattle, Washington and obviously can get an ...
