I have a 98 Civic LX (L4, PFI, SOHC 1.6L) with about 115k miles. Recently the malfunction lamp has been coming on. The Honda Dealer says the diagnostic suggests the distributor needs to be replaced. The cost is $305 for the part and $79 for the labor.

Just changed my coolant today. Anybody else noticed that Honda's Type 2 premix is no longer dark green, but is now dark blue instead? I wonder what the difference is?

I am replacing the head gasket 1994 1.5L civic lx - shop manual says clean oil orifice located near intake side of block when looking from above - how does this little part get removed? supposed to be an o-ring under it too.

The left front brake of my CR-V is howling and I don't know why. My wife came home with it this way having left with it in fine condition. I took the wheel off and found that the screeching sound is resonating from the pan behind the rotor.

I own a 1990 Honda Shuttle, with a genuine 77,000 miles on the clock. It recently passed it's MOT. But blue smoke started to pour out the back. I have been told by the RAC, that the head gasket and pistons have gone. Will it cost to much to repair, or should I scrap it?
