| 94 Civic: coolant drain/flush and thermostat | 25 Jul 2005 17:00 GMT | 25 |
I recently had a stuck thermostat at an inopportune time, and had to get whatever CarQuest supplied the mechanic instead of OEM as I had figured to put in when I replaced the coolant later this summer. I still have to replace the coolant and bleed the system, which wasn't done ...

| 91 Accord engine stall | 25 Jul 2005 04:13 GMT | 3 |
I bought a used 1991 Honda Accord DX Coupe recently, and it has been giving me problems. Sometimes the engine would stall while driving, and I have to restart the car. This happens both at signals and on the highway. It also sometimes would not start after parking somewhere.

The car is overheating (needle points to red line) idling in traffic. When I turn on the AC, the temp is fine. When I turn ignition off the condenser fan kicks in. I then drive home and remove the bleed hole and find no trapped air (temp dial is set to HOT.) I then remove the (92-96 ...

| Odyssey 2000 EGR system | 24 Jul 2005 12:04 GMT | 7 |
My engine check light came on and the ODB code indicates restricted EGR flow. Looking briefly I see what appear to be sensors in the exhaust before the cat con and in the cat con itself, but I do not see the EGR valve nor the line to it. Anyone familiar with these enough to tell ...

http://www.tegger.com/hondafaq/misc/no-rear-suspension.jpg I'm off to the machine shop tomorrow to get the bushings pressed out. This has easily been the most frightening job I've ever attempted, mostly due to the amount of disassembly required. Ain't nothin' left of that back
