Secondary O2 sensor19 Aug 2005 23:06 GMT6
Quick question:
Honda told me that my engine light is on because of a secondary O2 sensor
failure. I had this happen in my last civic too (this one is a 98 civic cx
hatchback) and it was about $600 to fix it! They said it was ok to leave it
Accord Hybrid wheels/tires19 Aug 2005 21:04 GMT1
Hi! Currently I have 16 inch alloy wheels on my 2005Accord Hybrid and would
like to get the low fat profile look. What size wheels (17"?) and tires
should I get to achieve that without any fender rubbing problems on turning?
Thanks!
Pilot lights19 Aug 2005 19:56 GMT2
My headlights are awful, both high and low beams. Does anyone agree? Is
there anything that can be done for example putting a higher wattage bulb
in?
why change shifter bushings??19 Aug 2005 19:50 GMT5
A general question to get some valuable feedback/ideas:
Why would one want to change shifter bushings? I guess i am asking this
because i want to eliminate the "not-exactness" of the change of gears
and/or decrease the effort to put it in a specific gear and/or just make
oxygen sensor19 Aug 2005 05:27 GMT2
just for giggles, i've done some experiments with some different oxygen
sensors i've picked up at junk yards on my 89 civic.  the results
surprised me:

'89 Prelude Si to '05 Accord LX19 Aug 2005 04:45 GMT2
Ok, made the jump yesterday - picked up an '05 Accord LX.  Coming from an
old '89 Prelude Si, I think I miss driving the Prelude already!  But it's
nice to have working a/c again although I'll miss the sunroof :-(  Will also
sorely miss the handling of the 'ol Prelude!  Starting ...
Hanging air freshener badly marked up center console19 Aug 2005 04:39 GMT7
I have a weird problem.  I have a 2001 Honda Civic DX in MINT shape.
As you know, there aren't a lot of places to hang stuff, so when I
bought this hanging air freshener, I hung it from one of the plastic
vents in the centre instrument console.  After a few days being in the

Best Muffler for 98 Civic HX?19 Aug 2005 03:52 GMT8
My beloved 98 Civic HX needs a muffler.
Where can I get the highest quality muffler?
1990 Prelude Head Gasket Not Lining up?19 Aug 2005 03:08 GMT5
I have taken my head off, gotten it milled, and now I am installing it
back on the block, but the new felpro head gasket looks like it will
partially cover some of the cooling ports on the head and block.  Is
this normal? I Looked up the part number and confirmed I have the right
To Tegger re: alt brush assy replacement19 Aug 2005 01:59 GMT6
I know you've done this, but I don't expect you to remember all the
details. I'll ask anyway. I finally got the cover off the '91 Integra
gs alternator (manual tranny w AC). Had to loosen the electrical
connector on top and the surrounding plastic tube encircling it. I then
Price quoted for timeing belt and tuneup (105,000 miles)19 Aug 2005 00:02 GMT14
I have a 1999 Accord EX coming up on 105,000 miles.  I was quoted $600.00
for the timing belt and water pump replacement and $235.00 for the tune-up.
Does this sound about right?
97 Civic HX shift problems18 Aug 2005 23:57 GMT4
My son just told me that he has to let off the gas to get his car to
shift gears.  It's an automatic, so that seems strange to me.  Is there
anything I can check, or any ideas of what it might be, before I take it
to a shop to have it looked at?  His car has about 108,000 miles ...
1993 Accord Timing18 Aug 2005 23:56 GMT8
I just had my timing belt, seals water pump etc replaced on my 93 accord (I was leaking like crazy from one of those seals) and the first time I got it back I had practically no power from about 0-30MPH. I took it back to the shop the next day and they said that the timing belt ...
